Cheers guys,

Just failed at getting my usual local ticket as they've changed the catchment zone :/

Shit news, have no fear, though, resale success is guaranteed NFiR NFC.

Nobody will ever hand a ticket back because of one headliner, if they do they the just don't get it.

This year will be my tenth and I could count the number of pyramid headliners I've seen on one hand.

They buy the tickets blind in the first place so they can't moan.

I wish there was a few 1000 more dropping out though I'd thank them.

Mine and Mrs Amos's will be going back in the pot

nothing to do with the headliners more to do with a wedding (I have to pay for it)

but we will still be there working for Oxfam :)

Legend, positive shift on the odds for me

I'm now going in for the resale after a few recent revelations... Kanye headlining the Saturday is one of them.

I initially thought The Who at Hyde Park was the same day, and I was gutted... Then I realised The Who is the Friday.

Now, in normal circumstances, I would sell my ticket to The Who, and go full-on at Glasto.

HOWEVER, my dad really wanted to go to The Who and got us a pair of tickets as a birthday surprise for me, so I can't let him down.

I know it won't be a doddle to do, but does anyone think it would be relatively easy to (if I get a ticket) to travel to Somerset on Tuesday night, go to the site on Wednesday morning and enjoy the first two days... Then on Friday morning, get the train back to London to meet my dad and see The Who... Stay the night at home, and then get the train from London back to Glastonbury for the Sunday?

I know I'd probably be paying through the nose to do it, but I really want to go to the festival this year, but I also really don't want to let my dad down.

The harsh side of me says no, what a waste of a ticket, someone else could have that and enjoy the whole weekend.

The gentler side of me says no, what a waste of a ticket, someone else could have that and enjoy the whole weekend.

    • Is anyone selling a medium camper van parking spot - I would love to buy it off you!   Bought our tickets a while ago and have since found out gf is pregnant and will be 7 months by festival! Luckily family have just bought a camper van we can borrow so we can still come along but… the medium parking spots have sold out 😞
    • Sure enough I did finish the Brosnan Bonds. Goldeneye is good but I think might be overrated by some Bond mega-fans, The World Is Not Enough is ok but nothing more than that and Die Another Day is just wild. I didn't hate Die Another Day like some have but its basically a wacky sci-fi film with Bond movie clothes.
    • Monaco comes across to me as something that's great for just watching people driving around, especially this year as it feels like this is a track where they can actually push compared to other circuits where superclipping ruins it, but where the cars seem to have outgrown it.   Though tbf Formula E has had decent Monaco races recently so maybe its a sign of car development philosophy being a factor.
    • Feel like a lot of people do just sit around by the stage at a festival waiting for one act anyway, no? I know Swift has a big mega-fandom - she wouldn't have done so many Wembley shows last year if she didn't - but it's not like she'd be unique in playing a festival and drawing a crowd on that specific day just for her.   But then tbf I feel like there'd be a few happy just to mosy around the rest of the site until maybe 2/3 acts beforehand.
