04 was shit, 05 was horrific, 06 would've been but there was no festival, 07 was the worst, 09 pissed down and 2010 was a rare occasion where we get the good end of it.

Accuweather now showing a crazy amount of thunderstorms in the week before and during the festival.

So in short, this year is going to be shit. We're fucked. Guaranteed rain and mud.

Most of the reports I read don't except El Nino to have any real impact on European weather till September and even then it will be limited.

Was thinking the other day how many times I’ve read a mudbath prediction from Nal over the years. It might well rival Mardy's total for slagging off reformed 90s no-hopers being rumoured to play.

I think its a cunning plan, to get everyone to plan for and expect the worst, so they then have a million times more fun when its super sunny.

We often get mud. Which usually clears. Even in 05. Genuine mudbaths: 85, 97, 98 & 07 (didn't go in 85 but don't think anyone who did would describe it any other way). 11 wasn't the most fun I've ever had either but "usually" is stretching things a touch.

why? It has no more effect on what the weather will actually do than when people make me laugh by picking their favourite weather forecast.

Its gonna be another 2010 I can feel it... theres a touch of familiarity to the forecasts, with some predicting thunder and some predicting pure sun.. the week before we'll all be out stocking up suncream
