Last year was a pretty bad storm, we were watching De la Soul and could see a storm a brewin, we were watching it come over it was SUPER sunny. Then Rudementals came on and we started seeing flashes in the distance.. hoping it may miss us they ended up having a power down and close the Pyramid stage for a while.

I have never felt raindrops like it in my life, huge whopping great things! And the atmosphere was so weird as it went so quiet, prob due to other stages powering down?

Huge thunder storm then arrived!

Ive got a fab picture of the Pyramid stage half sunny and half in stormy weather as the clouds came over, also if you look on the kidzfield site they have a fantastic picture of lightning hitting the area!

Accuweather currently showing great temperatures and lots of sun symbols. Only Tuesday looks dodgy.

Was it muddy last year? I really can't remember, must have had a good time instead.

there was the apocalyptic thunderstorms on Friday. I also recall rain during Kodaline on the other... But it think it dried up pretty quickly

Too early to be looking at the forecasts, only accurate a week before.

You must be new to the annual weather thread! If you think the headliner and announcement thread was a roller coaster ride of emotions, strap in to this thread it's great!

Last year was more than bare-able.

A bit chaotic in places (around JP tent etc), but it feels like the site can handle it a bit better than other years (unless you get the 2011 style 3 days of rain non-stop).

Nothing will ever beat 2010.

Still stand by my view that long term observation of the visual satellite is the best way to get a feel for it. Weather's going to take a turn for the warmer and drier in about a week, from the looks of it.

    • Seems the addition of the Sun Stage area is interesting. Suspect this is the area where the Stage 4 used to be pre-2024. Looks as though they want to try create some space to keep people in amongst the arena post-headliners, rather than just crowds all descending back on the campsite entertainment at once.
    • 2000 Trees - 3 Day Tickets on Concert for Carers to buy (pair £15) sure they will not have them for long, I cant check if they are still available as it now says I have already bought tickets.
    • times and technology has changed , a pyramid headliner is often about the show thats put on as much as the music like it or not and as much as many would like to you cant really blame an artist for trying to get the best out of the set both for the audience in the field and for the cameras also .... Beyonce was 15 years ago
