  1. Thinking Southside Festival might be my June trip! It's a shame, because I really love this festival, but for the money needed to make it out there, the line up has to be enough. Pinkpop is arguably the weakest out of the lot for me 😕
  2. Yeah - very underwhelming line up (I'm trying to be diplomatic). Can see why they were so reluctant to put it out. Personally, other than Ed Sheeran, no real big hitter as a headliner.
  3. I also noted the The Killers could be in the mix! If look at their dates. Probably be the 23rd.
  4. Given the usual approach of Pinkpop in recent years - it seems by December, we would see the 3 headliners amongst the 25 names.
  5. I'm not sure - I expect at least a couple of headliners will be bookings which are present elsewhere (Ed Sheeran, Måneskin, Dua Lipa etc)! But I'm hoping for a curveball or two - Pearl Jam (it's a big ask) haha!
  6. It’s happening …. It’s happening!
  7. Things are moving on the socials!
  8. I get the impression many festivals (not all) may still be reluctant to book Arcade Fire until the Win Butler stuff is resolved (or goes away long enough....).
  9. Definitely - I expected The National for PP. Noticed Bikini Kill are now doing a run of European dates in June.
  10. Ah yeah! I pinged them an Insta and seem confident something is imminent.
  11. Is this an assumption? Or has it come from a source?
  12. Matt Cameron has confirmed the new Pearl Jam album is all done and ready to go!!!! Bring on some Europe dates (and Pinkpop...) 😍
  13. Same! The Line Ups just don't have any appeal anymore. It's understandable though, Slamdunk generally consolidated the Pop Punk, Ska and what previously was on the Concrete Jungle / Lock Up. They had to move with the times. That said, this years kick off line up is very strong! Lana will put on one hell of a show.
  14. Seems an odd strategy from Pinkpop - given most the big hitters have now put their initial line ups out? I know many are tempted by Graspop and Werchter, so PP will need to put something out in the near future if they are wanting to secure those who are travelling for a European festival in 24.
  15. Graspop too! Surely, now people are picking and choosing their festival (looking at flights etc) Pinkpop want to get themselves into the mix haha!
