Underworld seem to be popping up at a few places this year, I'd be surprised (and disappointed) if they don't play at Glastonbury.

That's a helluva lineup! Primavera's lineup is usually pretty great though to be fair. The fact that the bands run right through from mid-afternoon to around 6am spreads the music out nicely and means major clashes are (slightly) less likely. It does deal solely with music though, there's no other entertainment (not necessarily a bad thing) and it doesn't have the atmosphere of a camping festival.

But, if you love your music, it is one of the best.

Phwoar. That is a rather tasty lineup, I must say.

As Ride (famously from Oxford) have declined to play in Oxford on their 'comeback' I really hope they play at Glastonbury.

I'll be extremely surprised if Underworld don't play - probably an Other Stage Sunday headliner (or even West Holts?)

this year's is good, but i've seen most of the acts i'm interested in over the last year or 2 elsewhere, and there isn't much "wow" factor...

I can't see either the black keys or the strokes coming to Glastonbury this year out of the headliners, but I can see Ride maybe subheadlining the other stage like Pixies did last year, or headlining the park stage maybe?

Looking better and better for Spiritiualized. Ought too! Brand New would be cool, never caught them. Jon Hopkins would be lovely back, could see him headlining Park, that would be a spectacle. Or a Jon Hopkins -> Caribou evening. Thee Oh Sees would be amazing as well. Reckon Hookworms are very likely. Lots and lots of nice stuff there I'd love to see. HEALTH!

Wishful thinking but would love The Replacements but not a clue where they would play or how popular they are over here.

I agree with this entirely. Normally a festival on concrete is a bit ugly but because this is by the sea i like the venue. Never too rammed, great weather and city and as you say the hours of the festival are great. Plenty of sunshine and hours at night with acts on (with sensible scheduling) so the best of both worlds...

I live in Oxford and have been here for a very long time, I think you'll find RIDE will play an Oxford show. It might not be announced yet but I'm sure they will ;-)

Been listening to a little bit of Sleater-Kinney and have to say really adore their sound. Would be welcomed by me.
