I remember being delighted at buying FOTL that Monday after Glasto in 1997, on the way to the ferry in Holyhead.

Also remember waking everyone on our coach going through Dublin on the way home when I saw Dermot Morgan crossing the road and roared 'There's Father Ted!'

Didn't go down well with the hungover majority who thought I was talking shite.

Less than a year later he was gone.

IMO new album is absolutely brilliant at the start, then goes rapidly downhill after Ibiza, which is a massive let down. Kinda thought that the Sleaford Mods and Prodigy collab would have been the stand out track on the album. But it just sounds like they couldn't be bothered and just had The Mods on their because they're quite hip at the moment.

Listening to the new album at the moment, just had a look on the comments on their Facebook, ha ha.

Seems like they are being more divisive than ever.People either love it or totally hate it.

For some reason I rather that than have a bland album that everyone loves.i think it's fantastic and for some strange reason I like the fact that loads of people hate it.

On a separate note, my mate has a theory-

The Band have always attracted a mix of Dance and Rock fans but he reckons that ,in general, the rock fans like it and the dance fans don't.

I would suggest that he hasn't surveyed a huge number of people and is more likely going by half a dozen people he has spoken to down the pub but it's an interesting theory.

Ibiza is the only track on the album that I'm not sure on. I think that every other track is spot on. imo it's the best album they've ever done, and although there are some tracks which really stand out (TDIME, Nasty, Rok-Weiler, Get Your Fight On, Wall Of Death), I consistently love every track on that album. I'm not exaggerating, and it's rare for me to like an album this much, but I really do.

Even with Ibiza, I think that an instrumental would be awesome - I just feel that the words ruin it a bit.

But yeah. I love that album, anyway.

I enjoyed it for about 5 minutes as it took me back to '90 for a few moments as a raving 18 year old, the smell of teenage fingers and bottles of mad dog 20/20.

Then I realised I was listening to almost the same album 25 years ago and might as well listen to Jilted.

I think the album is closest to AONO, of all their albums - but I still think it's different enough to sound unique. I think it's a really interesting development, actually - MFTJG was an album in response to anti-rave laws, and TDIME is at least partially a response to the terrible thing that a lot of electronic music has become.

Made me absolutely die with laughter when Howlett was banging on about dance music these days doing nothing unique, despite the fact he has slung out the same tired stuff for the last decade. I'm a fan of The Prodigy, seen them live a number of times but this album for me is just the same stuff and the same sound he has been doing for years - and then he has the gall to call out other producers for not innovating? Time to turn in the badge Liam.

Cool, 80 mins will be fine, 18 songs in the setlist and most of what I'd want to hear. Enough from the new album that I like too. Decent enough. Opening with Breathe will be insane.

Tbey usually only play 80 mins. Cant perform like that for any longer. For both band and crowd. People would be dropping dead!
