justanothername
premium view sold out. at that price and given the reports from last year thats impressive. Probably people he realised how bad it was last year and decided they didn't want to deal with it (or they have decreased the size of that area but I doubt it)
dentalplan
Premium view tickets are still available yo. Wouldn't be a bad idea to decrease that area.

A Guy Called Matt
Tickets are available from lots of sites - See have run out of their first allocation of one sort - they will get more. All that Premium selling for TS tells me is that her fans have more money than sense!
LondonTom
Strokes? Yeah possible, they like a pay day for one off dates. All that Premium selling for TS tells me is that her fans have more money than sense! Quite, but certain acts tend to appeal more to people who think buying premium/vip tickets is well worth it and can't be arsed standing with the pleb, also thinking they get backtage and such
Matt42
If ts can't sell very well I doubt the strokes will :/
foolee
I'd argue that for an all day event that people may even call a festival that The Strokes would sell better with a good undercard if the price is right as their fans are more likely to go to an all day event where people will be drinking/festival atmosphere than TS fans. But that's just my opinion.
LondonTom
If ts can't sell very well I doubt the strokes will :/ If it was a one off date in the UK, it would sell about as well as the Libertines did. (Especially if they got the undercard/pricing right) Selling out doesn't seem to be a concern of BST though
Gucci Piggy
Yeah I was thinking they could sell as well as The Libs, or as well as Arcade Fire doing it on top of Glasto/Earls Court.
the wonderwhy
If ts can't sell very well I doubt the strokes will :/ What makes you say Swift isn't selling very well? Tickets only went on sale Monday. She was never going to sell out 65,000 instantly...
dentalplan
What makes you say Swift isn't selling very well? Tickets only went on sale Monday. She was never going to sell out 65,000 instantly... That was proposed as a measure of how big she was. The Strokes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Interpol. New York post-punk revival day. DO IT. LondonTom
What makes you say Swift isn't selling very well? Tickets only went on sale Monday. She was never going to sell out 65,000 instantly... Well a few on the Glastonbury Taylor Swift thread seemed to think it would be minutes, and she could sell stadiums in minutes to. That was proposed as a measure of how big she was. The Strokes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Interpol. New York post-punk revival day. DO IT. Didn't Yeah Yeah yeahs split up this year? FloorFiller
Didn't Yeah Yeah yeahs split up this year? definitely not! Karen did a solo album but they're still going strong
LondonTom
definitely not! Karen did a solo album but they're still going strong Ah excellent news! I knew about the solo album and just presumed! (Or maybe I saw something NME that speculated about it). They could have a stop off at Glastonbury to! FloorFiller
thought their tour for the latest album had finished but looks like it's still in full swing, so yep that would be fantastic!
