thewayiam
'Lad rock' is a petty classist term. Can't we just lambaste Catfish and co for being shit? Lad Rock is basically term now for the next indie/rock band and all of the last one's. Courteeners very much fit in the shit rock bracket though. CaledonianGonzo
He genuinely looks like the late great Anne Kirkbride/Deirdre Barlow (Rest In Peace) in that picture! Can't wait for Catfish to tear up the John Peel tent:
Mezhyp1
Major lazer as a sub? Free over the weekend I would say them playing isn't exceptionally unlikely but don't really see it, but subbing the other stage is definitely exceptionally unlikely

FloorFiller
Is that confirmed anywhere yet ? not confirmed but it definitely seems like the most likely situation. don't think we'll get a confirmation until the running order is announced

jonodillieono
Would be the best outcome for me so not holding my breath ! I must of said it at least 5 times in the last few pages but it's the worst possible clash of the whole weekend for me. Really wish he was the same time as the Foos
Anderson19
If those 3 are the other stage headliners - I don't think I'll be seeing a pyramid or other stage headliner this year. And I'm happy about this!
st dan
Rudimental against Foos seems an odd one for me. Both Radio One bands who will appeal to a similar audience. Can't seen Rudimental having any form of fan base, due to the fact they only have one (terrible) album. If people were torn between watching the two (although how anybody could genuinely contemplate watching Rudi-bloody-mental I'll never know!) then they would most probably opt for Foos as their own shows are very expensive. Homer
Haven't Rudimental had a couple on number ones? Am sure the young crowd will be swayed there generally over the Foo Fighters! Edited May 19, 2015 by Homer

Am sure the young crowd will be swayed there generally over the Foo Fighters! yeah they had a couple of number ones, 2/3 years ago. i know their set was cut short last year but i still find it hard to imagine that many are champing at the bit to hear those songs live again (they've been bloody everywhere the past few years). with a new album it'd make sense, but without it seems a bit pointless
