Forget everything I've said prior to Saturday, because I don't know how accurate that info might be.

I DO know that it's accurate to say that whoever the 3rd headliner is, the fact of them having other shows is what is holding the announcement back until June.

So that seemingly rules out Prince, and others.

And info I've had - that might be wrong but I don't think it is - is that it's not Fleetwood Mac.

Maybe. You will know more about this than me, but they are not exclusives to IOW, so I don't see why it would matter. (Unless its a gentlemans agreement not to announce)

Bst is more like "their gig". I can see why they want that filling.

Neil, do you believe the info about the 3 headliners already being signed up quite a while ago was wrong?

or do you get the impression that a headliner has cancelled (presumably at financial and legal costs to themselves?), and this headliner that is TBA in June is a late addition?

Some of it is rather, erm, dull.............. and not like Blur. More like Damon's solo stuff.

First two listens I will say I hated it........ but there are some tracks starting to get in my head now though overall I am still a bit 'meh' about it - more to do with expectations though than content.

I'm under the impression that the 3rd headliner is newly signed, but |I could be completely wrong about that.

If that's the case, I'm not sure that anyone 'cancelled'. It's more likely to be that someone who previously indicated they'd do it has now decided that they won't.

It might NOT be right, as Press said they knew nothing about it.

But i was told Wednesday by someone who should know, and i think it's more likely to be right than wrong.
