Of course.

Where does it say "inciting the distribution of child porn".

He gave his reasons for accessing the website, and the police dropped charges.

You can't keep leading arguments with "I think it was something like" when it takes 10 seconds to do the research.

About half way down this article

The Scotland Yard statement stressed that access and payment for child abuse images was an offence.

"Inciting others to distribute these images leads to young children being seriously sexually assaulted to meet the growing demands of the internet customer. It is not a defence to access these images for research or out of curiosity."

He accepted a caution. Therefore accepting guilt. Anyone choosing to watch Pete Townsend but have no morals.

And anyone making such sweeping generalisations on a complicated subject clearly isn't qualified to do so.

Whatever anyone's thoughts on this, I presume everyone agrees that signing up for one of these sites for research reasons is stupidity of the highest order.Proven by the fact that it is being talked about 12 years later when we are supposed to be talking about them headlining Glastonbury.

Of course, it's unfathomably stupid! No-one's denying that. Seriously, what was he thinking!

Did this discussion occur last time they played?

It was definitely mentioned (as it should be) but I don't think it got out of hand or became a big thing. But then I don't think it has this time so far either.

Ultimately it's one of those things that everyone should make their own informed decision on.

This thread get's increasingly more bizarre by the day.

I'm almost reminiscing for the "Stone Roses are defo playing cos a friend saw a Mani eating a walnut whip and that looks like a pyramid" level of madness.

I'd draw your attention to the Foals studio pic that was vaguely triangular.

Still pinning my hopes on them subbing and pissing on the chips of the Noel Gallagher fans :)

Would much prefer Foals. They deserve a high profile pyramid slot.

Yeah, more in keeping with Emily's comments about giving up and coming artists a leg up than the current dad rock speculation of the who, noel G, weller...

    • I'm just back from Primavera. A present from my wife for my BIG birthday. She presented it to me at the airport. I was expecting a week on a beach so was very pleasantly surprised. We stayed an extra few nights in the city to make a holiday of it.   Despite the rain on the first night literally making it a wash out, the rest of the festival was superb. Addison Rae was great, The Cure were the best I've ever seen them, The XX were the absolute stars (along with Gorillaz) and Pinkpantheress is surely going to be massive any day now. Sadly couldn't get anywhere near for Olivia Rodrigo's surprise set.   Sadly, very sadly in fact, Skrillex was about as enjoyable as a trip to the dentist. We lasted 30 minutes, and half of that was us pushing our way through the crowd to leave. I'm clearly not the target audience, but normally I can find some kind of redeeming feature in any kind of music. With Skrillex it just feels like someone's told a joke and everyone's laughing except me.
    • We’re heading down to Glastonbury hopefully next week so I’ll pack a peg😊
    • Absolutely loving the new one from Kurt Vile...been trying to decide on the new DCFC one since it came out. Not fully doing it for me yet though...
