I've had two bits of different info which should be good, and suggests a solo act (or solo name with band), a male, and that the festival have been after for a number of years. There don't seem to be too many obvious possibilities for that.

Then again, the info might be complete bollocks, and it's nothing of that.

maybe it is a tad harsh to call them names. As has been discussed on here before, Glastonbury is very unique and is hard to understand until you actually attend.

Perfectly reasonable in my opinion. The type of people who'll spit their dummy out over there being no announcement are not the sort of people I'd like to bump in to at the festival.

I think it's better if there's some new people there though. I'm not saying get all newbies in and kill off the old crowd. But it's nice to have at least 10% never been before wide eyed youngsters not knowing how to deal with what they're witnessing.

We were all newbies once.

Absolutely. I just find it hard to believe that someone who has been before and really appreciates what a special place it is, would not pay the balance based on the lineup not being released

It's a bit shit though isn't it, they're essentially using the deposit scheme as some sort of reservation so they can make up their spoilt minds when they decide what they want to do... meanwhile there are people who would go without even one band announced, struggling to get tickets as a result.
