Van Morrison third down would be brilliant, I would defo watch that. I take it that was the info you had heard JoeyT?

Bowie would be much preferred personally, I just can't vision either of them despite the info

Is it just me that doesn't like the Stone Roses? Maybe you had to be there at the time, but the bloke can't sing.

I was too young for them first time around but I like the first album and enjoyed the gigs I saw in 2012. He can't sing a fucking note though you're right, which sort of ruins the gigs to be honest.

I like them I spose but with 1 and a 1/4 decent albums worth of material and a really shit singer you'd really have to put them in the overrated category. Along with Crosby, Still and Nash.

And The Doors. And Bob Dylan. And Elvis.

I've actually never seen Van, so I'm in the mibbes aye camp. How's his act in this day and age? Pipes in good working order?

I enjoyed his show the last time he played Glasters. Finished with Brown Eyed Girl and Gloria. Job done.

How certain are you of this information Neil? 90% sure?

i've had similar info from different sources who, in theory, shouldn't be dicking me about. But i've no way of really knowing if they're dicking me about, or even if they've been dicked about via the person they heard from.

I only get to find out how it is when something get s announced, but I think that what i've heard is probably accurate.

Bowie hasn't performed live for ten years now due to poor health, why do people think he's suddenly going to come back for Glasto? We all want it to happen but it won't.

exactly, if Bowie was to make a comeback, i'd expect it to be his own shows, probably indoor and smaller initially.

headlining Glastonbury just seems way to big for someone who hasn't performed in a decade.

I'm in the same boat. Know someone who is a huge fan who caught him at a Jazz Club in London and Albert Hall last year and said he was in great form both times but they've also seem him going through the motions as well. I get the impression the weaponry is still there but weather you get to hear it depends on how motivated he's feeling?

    • Yeah exactly, the shock moments, group layouts, etc all end up playing out differently once you get into the tournament. However you tweak it, you don't predict shocks.
    • I could see Muse doing BST, Lytham Festival and the one in Cardiff next year.
