    1008

Indeed after last year and 2011 (which when talking about 2007 seem to have not been bad at all). I'd take a 2010 all over again. Wasn't saying that after the fest, but it wasn't that bad reallly and was much better than than mud at any rate!

Although it's irrelevant to this year, just seen on the Coachella lineup that Kasabian are 19TH down on the poster! Seems crazy to think a glasto headliner could play that low, but then they must just have very little status over there.

This makes me smile for some reason, they seem like harmless blokes, but after their bafta performance, its nice to see them knocked down a few pegs... apologies if that sounds a bit mean

thankfully this time around it's not going to be creating Michael a huge worry over tickets, as 2008 was back when they still sold all of the t5ickets in April. I'd hate him to go thru that again, it was clearly a big stress on him.

There might be some who return tickets because of Kanye (tho I doubt the numbers will be huge), and they'll soon be snapped up.

Are you trying to say that Glasto still sold out in April for the 2008 year? If so, they didn't. Early June time that year, the festival put tickets on sale in HMV stores and to be available by the use of credit card. If you're not, it's crossed wires.

Hadn't seen it before, just watched it. Found it quite odd tbh haha, oddly dull.

I think what Neil meant is that the sale didn't start until April so only a few months before the festival, rather than in October.

Yeah noone really knows who they are over here.

I was surprised that Phoenix headlined only the John Peel in 2013 - here they headline arenas and festivals.

You did say that! " when they still sold all of the t5ickets in April."

What you meant to say was "when they still put all the tickets on sale in April", but we'll forgive your error :P

In all fairness Neil, you can roll your eye's but this guy may well be right. Anyway, no harm done, I wasn't trying to dig at anyone, I just remember going on there that year in June and it still being so easy to get a ticket. I remember it being the day before that it sold out or something.

Alt-J seem nailed on for sunday other headliner, what implications does that have for our last headliner (presumably they're not gonna have acts with too much crossover in fan base clashing)?

I don't know where you're getting this from. The most reliable source you have says they believe it's not them and someone else. The info originally only stated it was thought they were asked for it, and they are now TBC but with no stage.

I'm really struggling to understand why Swift is being considered.

because she's one of the biggest pop stars in the world and there has been info that she'll play on Sunday.

personally, i think she'll sub if she plays. I don't think there's 90,000 people at Glastonbury that want to see her headlining the Pyramid.

her subbing on Friday makes far more logistical sense than Sunday too.

    • Hi Everyone!   I need your help. I'm trying work out who was playing at The Wishing Well at 3am on the Monday morning at the 2025 festival - this was once the official setlist had ended. The music was down tempo, bass heavy, kept evolving, just mesmerising. Anyone have any ideas? and/or was there as well?
