The BBC forecast said it would rain here at 1pm and 5pm - been clear blue skies all day. Fingers crossed that's what their current forecast for Glasonbury will result in!!

Well now we're fucked

So Mr Fish's forecast is out. Biblical storms then.

You are both very naughty indeed, assuming that people at work won't watch videos. Everything is fine :) He says it all in the first 20 seconds.

This could be the briefest forecast ever, because high pressure will remain to the west, and what you have now, you'll probably keep.

How on earth can a forcast change so much in a few hours?

Last week the forcast was disgusting for Swindon and it turned out fantastic

OK.

So imagine a big rain cloud is predicted to be over your house. So it predicts rain.

When the forecasters look again it looks like that weather system will be located 10 miles further west.

So now the forecast will say it looks like it will be sunny over your house.

That's all it takes - 5 miles one way or the other and the forecast changes - it's why it's so stupid all this focusing on specific details.

Tensions are rising- I feel like we're in the last round of a poker tournament, there's a big pile of chips in the middle of the table, which we either win (2010) or lose (2007). It's understandable that people are getting a bit grumpy and tense- there's a lot at stake!

It's not that dramatic though. The doom mongers are trying to make out like it's that black and white - either solid sun or mudbath-hell and that's just not the case and we mustn't get whipped up by it

There is a lot at stake, but the stakes aren't as high as is being made out

Oh FFS it's not been close to being 2007. At worse we might get 10mm over the festival at the moment. Less than we had on Thursday last year.

People need to stop assuming any rain at all = 2007/1997/1998. It's been absolutely baking again down this way... The ground is harder than a porn star on Viagra

Walking distance. That's 6 miles away! A good 2 hour walk each way.

Plus an hour or two shower and charge your phone. That's about a six hour round trip.

What a fucking waste of time. You should be making the most of every single minute on the site and no worrying about charging your sodding phone or having a shower. What is wrong with you people?

http://forum.netweather.tv/blog/189/entry-4786-glastonbury-festival-2014-25-to-29-june-forecast-no-12-issued-19-june/ J10s latest blog

Looking good for the start of the festival but predicts rain for the weekend.

"Overall a mixed set of charts today and a slight worsening of the score to 5.5. But no real washout charts in the offing."

Sounds like it could just be cloudy with some showers.

Also being Irish - that's just a shitty cover of Don't Fear The Reaper.

:D

It's a damn sight better than Scorpion - Winds Of Change!!

:D

I bloody loved The Stunning as well. Music of my teenage years and they were one of the first bands I ever saw live.

    • The Great Fete Festival (Sunday Only) Ocean Colour Scene day on Tickets For Good.
    • I was also at Ghost but seated. When they scanned my ticket's and they came up as seated they printed a small ticket with the seat number info.
    • I was standing for Ghost at O2 London last year where they put the phone in a pouch beforehand so I assume they're is a mechanism in place for people in seats.
    • Most likely not, keeping an eye on Tixel and Twickets might be the best option.
