Weather

It is possible that JackONE is actually an advanced cosmological mystic, who is actually charting out all the possible different alternate timelines- in one the weather is fantastic and we all have a great time, in another the weather is merely reasonable, in another it rains every day and sinks in a quagmire of mud. In which case we can but hope we don't end up in the darkest timeline...

... but does he have any seaweed?

Mudbath! Raining every day. Looks like 2007.

Most places now showing rain for every day. Here too. Nearly 100% chance of rain every evening and pretty much raining throughout every 24 hour period over the entire weekend.

Someone should convert his scale into practical examples:

0 = 2010

1 = 2014 haha!

2 = 2009

3 = 2004

4 = 2013

5 = 2008

6 = 2005

7 = 2011

8 = 2007

9 = 1998

10 = 1997

Jaysus. I was not there in the 90s, but was 98 and 97 really worse than 07? Fuck me, I dont think I can imagine that!

Was it like this?

Why oh why can't you pathetic morons be happy in your own thread.

You sound like my neighbour when we used to accidentally kick our ball into his garden when we were kids! ;) Edited by Mr.Tease

''light rain" it says. The odd shower inbetween sun. I'd stick with that

That's a little harsh I thinks... bad man :(

Just the ups and downs gets me stressed out, I can't take the rollercoaster. I want off but keep jumping back in.

Same as 2007 then! The odd heavy shower in between sun. The showers lasted for an hour or so at a time.

Place ended up looking like this.

The "showers" didnt last for an hour at a time, it just rained continually for the duration of the festival!

It's changed everyday this week. I keep saying I'm not gonna look until the Monday. Fuck sake!

Everyone keeps saying it's peaking too early, but the weather is unsettled in the North from today until Monday. Cloudy with showers and sunny intervals

that's not really relevant tho. It's going to be an absolute belter in Pilton this weekend, but the high pressure is currently thought to end sometime next week.

    • Primavera refunding day tickets which are probably a negligible percentage of attendees yesterday.
    • Thursday day tickets being refunded. Fair play.
    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
