2005. Was great and then turned into a disaster.

This year is going to be a disaster too. I know, it, you know it and Eavis knows it. Big thunderstorm, site gets flooded, we all churn up the site and we're fucked.

Get out.

I think a light morning rain wouldn't be too bad, stop by mid day ish on one of the days. It won't flood.

You remember how in about 2007 they spent 750 grand on improving drainage and you're talking utter shite?

Thats a myth. It was still a mudbath for parts of 2009 and 2011. There just wasn't the same amount of rain. You're kidding yourself. Time to live in the real world. The fact that the weather has been nice is a bad thing. It simply can't last.

Its going to be awful. Hailstones the size of snooker balls, swirling gusts of unforgiving wind, relentless rain, winged serpents descending from the skies and snatching folk away like subbuteo men, the ground opening up like The Great Pit of Carkoon with loved ones dropping into the bleak darkness forever, widespread fires, swarms of locusts hollowing through peoples eye sockets, Bryan Ferry playing on the West Holts. Really, really bad.

I think we're talking a different scale of mudbath tbh. Maybe a couple of acres got that bad (crossing into Dance from camping, path through Park...) but the rest was hunky dory

If noone's using a canoe it's not really wet

    • as if by magic... (but don't tell anyone that it isn't that easy to just cut welfare and that maybe taxes will have to go up)
    • Lost my love of football years ago so I pay very little attention to it these days but I'm really enjoying Max Rushden's video diaries of his flat share with Barry Glenddening. I think Barry might kill him before the end of the tournament
