Hey guys quick question.

First time I've ever tried to get a cheap ticket and I managed to bag two weekend tickets for £300.

However on arrival the tickets state "complimentary Weekend ticket" and the price paid for them reads "£0.00" just wondering if these are guest tickets and if I'll be asked to pay a £25 donation on the door?

Guest tickets are purple and if you have to pay a donation there's a little sticker on them saying so. If you've got what looks like the standard weekend ticket but just says complimentary, this is not a guest ticket and you won't have to pay a donation.

NeckDeep possibly off playing this now. Allegations today of sending indecent images to minors been doing Twitter rounds...

Likely also the death of the band if true.

Looks like one of their guitarists has now left the band. They just posted a statement on Facebook, looks like all shows are going ahead though

Maybe. The accusations were faced towards the guitarist who has now stepped down from the band as a result. I think a similar thing happened with New Found Glory. They may pull out but I doubt it and I don't think it is the end of the band unless there are more members involved, which there are rumours.

I'm looking forward to hearing the full album. It's going to be totally different to anything they have done before, you can tell that from the tracks already out. I think it will be the album that loses them a lot of fans, but picks up a whole lot more. I think it's safe to say tht they will play Happy Song, Throne, Drown and True Friends, I wouldn't expect much else from the new album, personally.

BMTH's new track 'True Friends' has leaked. The pitch has been altered so the final version obviously doesn't sound like that, but it's not a bad song.

Not really a big fan of this song. Prefer the other 3 songs on the new album. The bit where Oli sings "true friends stab you in the front" sounds a bit out of flow with the song. I like some parts of it though.

After multiple listens, I agree. When I first heard Throne, I knew that it was a grower. With this song, however, I don't get that feeling.

Pendulum live reunion with rob at V yesterday. Could very well happen during the KP set at reading as well..

It was effectively a B2B between Pendulum's DJ/MC and Knife Party. There were no other band members there and it wasn't exactly a live band performance.

I'm actually really surprised Rob tweeted that he was going on stage with 'Pendulum'.

That said, it'll be interesting to see what happens during KPs set like you said!

After watching Rebel Sound videos, I'm seriously considering that over Metallica, it looks insane

Another one lost to the laptop spacebar con men. It's a sad time when people choose talentless button pressers over people who play real instruments live on stage. Is a guy shouting over various reggae clips really that entertaining?

Depends what he's shouting I guess. If it's Chris Morris shouting quality satirical material then I'd be interested

What if those people playing real instruments are Catfish and the Bottlemen?

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
    • Similar feelings to a few others on here. Not my personal favourite edition but a long way from giving up on it. Felt overcrowded at times and there are just too many people there that don't seem to like music that much! Hardly went to main stages which was the plan. Highlights Ralphie Choo, rusowsky, Gorillaz, Geese, Gelli Haha, The Sophs, PinkPantheress, Dijon. Accommodation booked for next year. Thanks for your company and comments over the past year.
