So Leeds have updated their sitemap, yellow campsite disappeared but now it's back. They must of sold a fair amount of tickets lately

1) what is Piccadilly Circus opposite Piccadilly Party? I don't remember that in previous years

edit: Apparently it's always been there, well it's on all the previous sitemaps anyway, I've never noticed it what the fuck is it?

2) where the fucks the silent disco? RIP Silent Disco </3

They've always had Piccadilly Circus opposite Picadilly Party on the map. I think it is one of them is the rides and the other is music. But I do wonder why they have gotten rid of the silent disco though.

Also can't see a day entrance on that map anywhere so I have no idea with what is happening with that. Maybe just the same as previous years with the drop off and car park being so far away from the arena.

Picadilly Circus is just the big open space at the bottom of Orange hill by the XFM all night disco thing. I camped on the little hill-side by it last year. Got about 12 minutes sleep per night and always woke up in the corner of my tent with a numb leg!

No green camping back, still way down n tickets then (was planning to camp there). Orange it is then.

Does anybody know whether I will run into any trouble when arriving with a weekend ticket and early entry pass which are registered under different names? This is due to having insufficient funds at the time of ordering therefore I got somebody else to order the early entry pass for me which they used their name for, a quick reply would be very helpful.

In terms of the lineup, I look forward to seeing the likes of Neck Deep, Metallica, Jamie T, Knife Party, Limpbizkit, Rebel Sound, Deadmau5, Gorgon City, Wilkinson, BBK, Hannah Wants, New Found Glory, A$ap Ferg, Lethal Bizzle and other acts at the Relentless stage. (Obviously I will not have time to watch all of these, this is just a rough list of who I would watch if I have the time)

I think you'll be fine. Names aren't checked on tickets, its just the barcodes which are scanned to check they're legit and everything.

Sounds like you've got plenty to keep you busy. Have a good weekend  :music:

    • Bit of a rogue one but when Nightwish went on their hiatus a few years ago they didn't rule out doing shows for their 30th anniversary which is next year    Would be a perfect sub for someone like Deftones or even System
    • With 20 euro discount if booked via Revolut too.
    • Yeah, surprisingly no increase from this year
    • its diabolical already 😞 .... The refs should have walked out in solidarity
    • The main problem with these is that noone really predicts the shocks that happen in the early knockouts or quarters, so it inevitably gets to like what I put in the semis (France v Spain and Eng vs Arg). You always end up with 4/6 of the top sides reaching the semis, and this is with me 'predicting' Swiss to beat Portugal.   I think we will see a shock result against a top 5-6 team of an African/Asian side knocking a favourite out, and I can see one of the big guns resting heavily for a 3rd group game and ending up 2nd place in their group, which would throw these whole brackets out of whack.   I think the main interesting thing from the brackets, is that if you're only caring about 'likely' group winners, you have France/Spain/Germany/Belgium/Netherlands (who I'm not convinced top group F, that group seems v exciting to me), all on one side of the bracket. Albeit the other side is England/Brazil/Arg/Portugal, but the European giants do seem weighted towards one half.   'best 3rd place' is very hard to call, I suspect there might be 1 or 2 who get 6 points (tied with 2nd) but are there on goal difference/head to head, while others could be on 3 or even 2 points. I also don't actually know if a bunch of these middle-Eastern teams who I've predicted to finish bottom are that bad. I think the ConCaCaf lot who've qualified partially by virtue of the 3 strongest teams all being hosts probably are 0-1 point teams mostly, but I wonder if there's some near-Asian teams I'm underestimating.   I'm honestly really excited though.
