Would love to see The Offspring announced.....could be doing the 2 extra dates mid week because of a smaller booking at R&L? haven't really gained much popularity since they last played and were 2nd stage headliners at DL last year.....would be an excellent booking - could slip in below Royal Blood, Bastille or Limp Bizkit.

might be clutching at straws a little bit but would love to finally see them, childhood faves!

Peace are before Limp Bizkit and I can't see The Offspring playing above All Time Low. Below Royal Blood would be the only slot I could see them in but, same as many, I reckon if anyone does slot in there it'll be Gaslight Anthem and those Offspring shows seem to me like it's instead of the fest rather than as well as. I think if they were booked they'd have been announced and allowed to announce warm up shows later in the year. Would be a good fun booking and would probably rope in more day ticketers for Metallica than any of the acts that day so far but can't blame them for giving acts a leg up instead.

The only way The Offspring will play is if there's TWO bands between AOF and Royal Blood, which doesn't seem that unlikely, but I can't see either The Offspring or The Gaslight Anthem play that low down.

you'll have to excuse my ignorance but why are Gaslight Anthem such a dead cert? haven't ever really listened to them, but been hearing the name thrown about a bit.....

Just seems odd that Offspring are doing the UK shows midweek, and just 2 of them.....would have thought if they weren't doing R&L, they might have announced a Glasgow and/or Brum show too? And as i say, maybe announcing the academy shows to make up for a smaller placing on the festival bill, so they get their moneys worth?

Should have a little more indication on what day they get annouced for Rock En Seine...

But again, as i say, i am clutching at straws......wont let the dream die until the poster is finalised haha!

I'd be surprised dude. On their last tour dates before Download, they solely played Shepherd's Bush twice, the one before that they did Manchester and London dates but the Manchester date was smaller than this one now is. They've made a point of using either own London/Manchester shows or a festival show rather than both to tour and promote. The tickets aren't exactly going to fly out.

I'd certainly expect Marmozets to get bumped down at least 1 place but if TGA were going to get 4th, announcing them later when surely 4th places are there to help with tickets sales and they could announce them as a UK festival only show makes no sense. Holding back Marmozets would have made more sense.
