I dont know much but there is atleast one 'bigger' band i understand will be added. When i say bigger i mean they get played on radio 1 and xfm and can sell out tours. Not the national etc size but big enough that some here will be happy. The name has been mentioned in here

Lower than Atlantis have got to be there in going with them, think there's like 2 dates on their uk tour that haven't sold out and one of them was upgraded. Love the new record

Nothings up, that will be their dates. One of the dates is bigger than when they last played the city and they didn't do a UK fest that year either.

This year is foo fighters 20th anniversary of the first time they ever played reading, foos will be there on a tiny stage.

They've done that a few times over the years, it's normally because they are at a French festival (I can't remember it's name atm) which happens at the same time as R&L and want to do an UK date on their tour.

One year at Leeds a band called 'The FF's' played on the introducing stage, I think. They drew a massive crowd because people took 'The FF's, to mean 'The Foo Fighters' ... Haha. Safe to say, it wasnt Dave and Co.

I think he'd make an excellent NME headliner. I'd have put him in Limp's slot, put on a sub for Libs that better follows on from The Cribs-Maccs-Jamie T, and Limp can fuck off. Or put them 5th on Metallica day if we really have to
