Like others I reckon they will fill it or at least come close, crowd will be horrendous though (and i even like the courteeners!) , got me thinking of the worst crowds I've been in, definitely top 2 of libertines at hyde park and the kasabian day at hard rock calling

I didn't find kasabian at hrc to be bad. Black sabbath, jay z, kanye west, a7x all had worse crowds imo

I saw the Courteeners at Castlefield last year and the crowd was alright where I was, but there was a lot of people being dragged out by security for letting off flares and smoke bombs.

Seen someone on twitter say that the capacity for Courteeners at Heaton Park is only 20000 but not sure how true that is, they could probably sell more than that.

Wiki (make of that what you will) also say's Stone Roses did 225,000 across 3 nights, that's about 75,000 a night. Not a chance Courteener's will sell that out.

They're really not. If they ever liked them they don't any more. Last album got 5/10.
