I hope they headline R&L but play lower down the bill at T. That always prompts a fun conversation.

After this year's fiasco - I won't be going no matter how good the lineup is.

It just proved that the organisers just treat it as a cash-cow and couldn't give a shit about the punters. I'd rather give my money to a festival organiser who can actually organise a festival.

Yeah Foals to headline R1 is a given for me. See them being an alternative to a pop/dance Saturday night duo a la Florence and Calvin.

I'd have said it'll be both or none and I don't expect them to headline T. I only know of one time before, I think?, when a R&L header has played lower down at T being Razorlight and it's fair to say in 2007 they were massively bigger than what Foals are now.

There is a shit ton of seating available for their Hydro show btw, as well as not selling out the standing. It's early doors of course, but it's usually a bit better than that.

I know that a new site takes a lot of learnt lessons but if enough people didn't complain then I'm sure they wouldn't bother changing anything

Agree it does look like they've listened to the feedback, a very concise statement.

I really hope they get it right, another year like last and I don't the festival could survive.

Yeah I'd agree that the statement shows that they have actually listened to the feedback and want to do something proactive about it. We all want T to be great, I just hope that they can actually solve the problems and put out a better lineup next year.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised, although with the late night act, there is the option that Calvin will close a stage and another header in. If Coldplay are at Glasto, I think they will have heavily gone in for them, but IOW could nick them as well.

I'm not sure how they would work it out as I'm not sure what the set times were I'm sure they could play it so a header and Calvin closing both had the same time. Flo would only have 1.5hrs, I think Mumford would get longer than that.

The poster would suggest he was, but I don't think it was his actual billing, he got 10 mins longer than the other subs though and Calvin got 15 mins extra so it was just about sub and header albeit by a songs worth.

Either way, they could easily put a header on for a 1.5 hr set and Calvin to close with the same set length as last time.
