A good start with The Cure, Gorillaz, The xx but these latest names aren't doing it for me.

But positive about a good programme underneath the headliners!

Aye The Cure were fab for me but I've enjoyed all 3 last announcements and now have to ponder a way around Halsey and KOL now.  While I prefer MC overall still just about, it's not as overall dead set.

Hi. I will attend Rock Werchter for the first time in 2026.

Are we sure The XX and Capaldi are both co-headliners for the Friday? No other potentiel headliner?

Thank you.

Would make perfect sense him to go into 2nd, with playing third last time. If he goes down well and gets more success around Europe, can see him headlining 3/4 years down the road.

Don't see anyone playing in between xx and Capaldi.

I've been on here for nearly 20 years, and I've never found it to be as tedious as it is now. It's a real shame the Mods haven't been able to keep control of it in the past few months. The international sub-forum in particular was a vat of knowledge, and absolutely essential when it came to planning foreign festivals at a time where information wasn't widely available in English. Like others above, I'm being driven away from a forum and community that I've been a part of for a very long time.

Agreed with this. I'll put my hands up for being guilty of arguing back at times when it's been unnecessary and I'll apologise for that.

I think the mods need to step in or there needs to be more community guidance to stop threads going round and round in circles. There's got to be a way to clarify the difference between being allowed to state your opinion and being relentlessly negative across multiple posts and threads. "If you've got nothing nice to say, don't say it at all".

Imagine if every act, at every festival, every user felt the need to reply with whether they liked them or not. This place would quickly lose any remaining value that it still has.

There should also be some sort of minimum standards for the clarity of posts. If your contributions are constantly riddled with inaccuracies, misinformation, typos and incoherent sentences then it's basically just shitposting isn't it.

Okay, given the we as mods are being called out, I'm going to respond:

Are you reporting posts that are frustrating you?

Can you point to specific ways in which the community guidelines have been broken?

Have you got a specific suggestion as to how to amend the community guidelines to have a clear and fair restriction on clarity of posts that is neither targeting one specific user, nor is wildly open to interpretation so could be used by either the report system or mods just to ban people that a user/mod doesn't like?

We as volunteer mods do our best to manage the forum, but if you're going to complain about how we're doing it, please use the report function for individual instances, or the website wishlists subforum if you've got a more general/overall request. You can also message any moderator of your choice if you want to have a private conversation about some issues.

If you just want to have a little passive-aggressive moan about a user and moderation, okay sure, go ahead. We're not deleting this post. That said, I think complaints like this are often disingenuous, given that we've expanded the moderation team, we've got more active mods around, and to my knowledge, neither of you have submitted any sort of complaint/request to improve things.

Also, as other users have pointed out, there is the ignore function, which we encourage people to use.

I would advise @Crazyfool01 to look at @thetime suggestion to start a blocking crusade as well. I don't care who blocks me but that's a pretty out there thing to be saying and comes across as a bit of an attack!. Ah well I'll let him deal with that.

Also @Crazyfool01 how I am baiting everyone for attention and that is workinf is beyond me? Surely you make a point of liking recent announcements including today's if you are just wanting attention, that's just talking positive about the festival but each to their own.

As mods, we'd prefer people block you than derail the thread complaining about you, or posting snide comments about you.

As has been pointed out before, if you feel a comment about you has crossed the line into a personal attack, please use the report function or message a moderator of your choice.

You're welcome to post your predictions, comments about your music taste, thoughts about line-ups, etc. etc, that doesn't mean everyone on the forum is obliged to pay attention to them.

Also to add theres some conversations that happen behind the scenes that users wont be aware of we do try and make this community the best we can and give up our own time to do this ... the mods are pretty available and I was even engaging with a user at 11.30 pm to a report recently

No one has to pay attention to anything but I personally feel positive comments on all of 3 of the most recent additions is a positive comment.

probably me for asking him yesterday which bands he actually likes after he brought his characteristic negativity to the line-up of a festival he's not interested in attending!!! Haha Apparently that makes me a master troll! lol

It wasn’t na . Not speculating further and I’d hope people can go back on topic . But as above we are more than open to direct message . When @eFestivals took over , clear moderation guidelines were put in place . There’s a tab that shows the moderators who are all users of the forum . Anything else or any changes we are more than happy to listen .

So people, who are we hoping for tomorrow (if the package comes).  For me it would be lovely to see Little Simz, Wolf Alice, Vampire Weekend and Kasabian

Lots of nice acts across the early summer festivals like Opener, Primavera, Best Kept Secret, DTRH. Hopefully get a nice chunk across those festivals.

I would like the following, which would be a nice start. Plus the Prodigy in the Barn.

Matt Berninger

Ethel Cain

Little Simz

FKA Twigs

Big Thief

TV Girl

New Dad

Empire of the Sun

Overmono

Texts is the reason.

Of the bands currently touring in the relevant window, top of the list for me would be:

The War on Drugs (although spots of a sufficient size might not be available anymore 😞)

Wolf Alice

Matt Berninger

Hayley Williams

David Byrne (combo with the above in the Barn please!!)

Macklemore (guilty pleasure...)

For tomorrow’s package I’d expect/wish for:

A perfect Circle

Paul Kalkbrener

Beirut

All Them Witches

David Byrne

Matt Berninger

Archive (new album coming)

I’ve lost hope for TWOD at this point. For some reason I think that Lewis Capaldi took their place before the xx.

Also hoping for Maruja but they ‘ll probably take a high spot at the Slope, so in that case they’ll be announced later with the Slope package, if there.
I’d expect The Offspring to be added too but maybe with a separate announcement later on to boost sales? Same with Editors that aren’t being mentioned much so far.

I don't think The Offspring will now, I think all main top two is taken. There is also now no more reason to think The Prodigy will play the barn than Lewis as they are lineup up right next to each other. I'd agree on TWOD being out two but Werchter might be the only one out of them, nos and obviously MC so grab him which would be a coup. Werchter to grab Halsey now would be very tempting.

We say this but Capaldi is coming over for one day

Sure, it can happen, but KoL are in Glasgow on Werchter Friday, Manchester on Werchter Saturday and Leeds on the Monday, and I don't think they're a band any more to do 4 nights in a row. So it's probably Thursday or nothing, but I suspect Thursday already has its top-line sorted.
