Considering the Hive MySpace camp this year. Anyone with experience? Were the pre pitched tents ok?

We did a normal 2 man in 2022, and the 2 man teepee in 2025. Both are good, but the teepee gives you a lot more floorspace and height. Both got incredibly hot, but obviously that's the summer weather for you. Our plan if we go back is the teepee again (2 man Apollo, they call it). They've stopped giving lanterns, which is annoying. Campsite is very nice, without much aggro.

Northern Angel might be selling a ticket for RaR soon! 😅

Werchter would have no impact on not going to RAR, it certainly won't now.

Oh man, love Halsey, but that Thursday and Friday are right offs for me personally. Gonna wait for another drop. See what the Slope has got for me.

Kasabian, The Vaccines, TLDP but Friday isn't the arsonist. Halsey and Palaya Royale carrying Saturday with the latter at RAR anyway. Nothing extra on Sunday.

I’m still very undecided on mad cool or RW , I think at this point mad cool is more likely just cus I can spend a week in Madrid and see music each night , but that can change with the next RW drop potentially

I'm a bit split now.

Might just have the city break tourism/festival cross over , get an Airbnb for a week and get a 4 day mad cool ticket

My holiday can't be stretched unfortunately. I can't afford, Werchter, MC and RIP. Im still on MC currently and only a few additions today have altered that but there is some good one's. I do still think all heads and subs are the first 8 on the app

Well once again a space for 10 with a bench has been booked for The Hive MySpace (there’s only 5 of us) so a bit of comfort and the showers are a game changer.  Absolutely loved it last time, roll on July

We've also bought our tickets and booked our accommodation with my group. After doing it for so many years it's like a reflex on the first day of sales 🙂 (with the exception of 2024 when other than Foos, it was really really bad for our taste). That gives us peace of mind and we 'll be counting the days from now on.

This might be the most lightweight top of the lineup RW ever had (only referring to headliners here) but, to be honest, for me it's already better than the previous 2 years.

I think I'm the only one who liked 2024 lineup but that's fine. The best for a whole for me. This year I feel the subs quality vs headliner quality for me has reversed.

Decent batch of names with Kasabian and Vaccines as highlights. I find it a bit too recycled as always (Palaye Royale played last year, and there are other electro acts than Kalkbrenner), but the Thursday seems to be quite ok. Unfortunate that they seem to miss out on The Offspring, Jack White and Pulp though... Friday and Sunday not to my taste (yet) except for Moby.

Would love another batch before X-mas, but probably the next will come in January.

The Prodigy and The Cure are the big pulls for Werchter for me. There are nice names there but it is on the lighter front of things in terms of acts. I think it'll be how easy I think I can get a Cure ticket here and if The Prodigy are subbing which I think they will be then it won't be much different than MK Bowl.

Do you think that would make Capaldi 3rd down? As TOP showing as before him on the app but a day after him?

Capaldi won't be 3rd down. Wouldn't read too much into the app. Friday barn headliner is going to be between Loyle Carner and Prodigy most likely and if Capaldi is a co-headliner with The XX then it's no different moving up to TOP and Gorillaz. I think there is a lot of hope there though.

Lot to like about that package of names for me, some names I was really hoping for. Agree with what people have said, but I would rather no mega headliner and a more solid line up across the board.

Capaldi aside I think they’ve gone really decent for my tastes this year, and even then I still get The XX and Royel Otis on that day so far.

Looking very likely now, will wait and see what Rock For People do with the advent calendar but it’s nice to have options

It's certainly not the worst package but I feel apart from Halsey many were expected anyway and the big one's revealed. I don't think they would hold back a Thursday sub of all days given they had announced the second act down for all the other days anyway. There is certainly no reason to hold back Lorde either.

I do agree that Palaye Royale despite liking them is another case of a year in repeat that could be avoided. Lewis well certainly feel like a big draw for them.if surrounding euro festivals don't have him. The Prodigy is a great booking but doesn't hit like it did for Glastonbury. It will certainly be cheaper to see them and The Cure than some others.

I'm worrying about the clashes between the Slope and those Barn headliners 😞

I'd be surprised with a barn as strong as Prodigy, Loyle Carner and The Vaccines.

TLDP clashing with Lewis would be a Lewis win but a shite clash on a poor day as it is so I'd be like another before it becomes a write off on comfortably the weakest day.

Pixies vs TOP instead of Gorillaz also becomes an issue. Palaye Royale, Halsey and TOP is alright.

Sunday the best by far without even being APC fan.

I think The Prodigy in the barn compared to the size of the other barn headliners there is just hopeful.

On the app, they've got a barn head at the bottom, halsey near the bottom with APC and Pixies not far above so I don't think the app means much.

Also Saturday and Sunday 4th down are clear Barn heads. Friday I think is missing one with Royel Otis or TLDP taking 4th or barn sub which also relates to 3rd main being barn head size.

Thursday may well be missing a barn head if its not Kasabian but even adding a Friday sub still only puts The Prodigy 3rd down on the lineup page and it would be odd to have one day across the 4 where it didn't correlate and I don't believe Lorde has anything between Werchter and Mad Cool.
