The Cure / Lewis Capaldi / Wolf Alice

Muse / Yungblud / Turnstile

Chappell Roan / Phoebe Bridgers / The Last Dinner Party

Tame Impala / Lorde / Vampire Weekend

Don’t know if Chappell Roan will be touring in 2026 as she would have been everywhere for the last two years, but the pop day has been a success and she’s the perfect candidate for next year.

Tame Impala and Phoebe Bridgers are pure guesses. The Cure should be touring next year.

TW Classic : Oasis

Parklife : Linkin Park

Boutique : Benson Boone

Can’t see Oasis doing festivals next year but a day event instead of King Baudouin stadium is an option.

Benson Boone has a new record and sold out two Sportpaleis already. This is inevitable and the only way to avoid him at the main festival

Yungblud again after the step in show this year?

My own guess

Oasis / Kings of Leon / Franz Ferdinand

The Cure / Paramore / Turnstile

Mumford and Sons / Lorde / Wolf Alice

Chappell Roan / Haim / The Last Dinner Party

I guess 2026 was the original plan before he had to step in on Saturday. So they would likely welcome him back.

He could sub Linkin Park at Parklife though, and then avoid playing the main festival two years in a row.

Forgot Kings of Leon, they have to be somewhere on the line up to make it for this year as well.

I don't see Oasis doing the classic.

That's a very good guess. Oasis being Thursday as well to shift the technically hardest day tickets.

2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th July 2026.

What are we thinking?

SOAD ( After a tour in South America I believe in Europe )

OASIS ( If you accept to have festivals in Europe )

Foo Fighters ( There is talk of return to the road )

Kings of Leon ( Contract postponed to 2026? or torn? )

Radiohead ( Rumors that are rehearsing. )

The Cure ( This year they refused Primavera Sound to do a tour without festivals )

Of those great bands I think Radiohead would create the biggest hype given that they only have grown in popularity during their absence plus that they have most listeners on Spotify among those artists.

I would tend to agreed. My daughter just turned 16, she and her friends are all over Radiohead.

The Oasis juggernaut will be jaded by next summer.

SOAD too, their concerts in South America were hell.

Yes exactly. Same with my teenage daughter.

Radiohead have managed to reach younger generations which would bode well in a festival I think.

There has been a leak (via Ticketmaster I think) for a SOAD concert in Berlin on July 2nd. If it’s true, the odds to see them in RW are quite good (unless there are too many options for headliners next year and LN puts them in Graspop instead).

For Oasis, I don’t think they will do festivals apart from Glasto maybe. TW Classic would be the only option for them I think and not with high chances.

I cannot describe how much I wish for the rumors about Radiohead to be true. And it they are, I cannot imagine that RW hasn’t made a move already (although we are getting used to being negatively surprised the last few years).

Muse are coming with a new album and Pearl Jam haven’t been there for a while now. Same goes for Gorillaz. Also, I guess we need to get used to the idea (or new reality) that one of the headliners will be pop or hip-hop. Not pop-ish, not “soft” rock or pop/rock but someone purely with the youth in mind as the target group.

My totally unrealistic wishlist (head/sub):

Thur: Radiohead / TWOD or The National

Fri: Pearl Jam / QOTSA

Sat: Gorillaz / Manu Chao

Sun: SOAD / Turnstile

Chances Oasis being around in 2 years for glasto?

I think Oasis will play festivals, the festivals that offer them the most. Although it depends if they last after this tour. If they do festivals it will something like Mad Cool/Werchter/NOS Alive/Opener

I hope you're unrealistic prediction is that lol, my idea of hell lol except for SOAD and would make this year look bliss. The Cure and SOAD the same year would be ace. I'm going to add Mumford & Sons and Lady Gaga to that for a realistic option although they just might not get Gaga due to money.

If that's the point it's at then BST will get them throwing the bag at them but why if they did festivals they would target Europe where they weren't as big to England where certain festivals will pay I don't know. European festival headliners clearly get paid nowhere near UK one's.

I think Oasis are too big for any festival in the UK apart from Glasto aren't they? So there's more money to be made in doing stadium shows themselves because they're popular enough to sell them out. You'll get more money doing a comparative sized show of your own rather than a festival. Taylor Swift was in a similar situation, albeit on a global level, why headline a festival anywhere and share the cut when you can just take the Eras tour wherever you want and sell stadiums out yourself.

Not sure how popular Oasis are across different regions of Europe, but less so than the UK, and so I think that makes European festivals more rather than less likely. They could play the likes of Mad Cool / Werchter / Nos Alive as it's an easier and less risky payday than trying to sell out their own stadiums in Spain / Belgium etc where it might be harder to do so?

Still agree that they might be more likely for a standalone event like RW Classic or something though. Not sure if the same might be true for Lady Gaga? Haven't looked it up as I'm not a fan but does she play festivals much or is it more her own shows / standalone events like BST?

I think Gaga is more likely for the Classic and Oasis for the festival. Even by their own admission they never really hit it big in Europe. They could both cover Classic and Boutique mind. To be fair The Cure, SOAD, Mumford and Chappell is my most realistic guess i think.

That would indeed be a dream lineup. Especially if Werchter would have both SOAD and Radiohead in the same year I will never complain about the line-up again;)

I thought possibly this year stadiums, a break before doing the live nation /bst festival route, another break and then do knebworth and Glastonbury to finish off.

Is interesting that Emily Eavis said she’d booked a 2028 headliner. I’d argue only Taylor Swift or Oasis are big enough to prepare that far in advance for so If it is Oasis they could be around longer than I expect

Roll on, wild guesses:
TH: The Cure / Kings of Leon
FR: Benson Boone / Chappel Roan
SA: Fall Out Boy / My Chemical Romance
SU: System of a Down / Volbeat

Oasis for TW Classic, Gaga for Boutique.

The only issue I see there is the festival failing to get both of those bottom one's in, especially Gaga when they've had a female headliner the past two years. I woild take it though. I think if they can get LP in on that year and Green Day, they can get one of those. Excited to see what happens but interest in 7 pf the top 8 would see a purchase. The Cure, KOL and SOAD is selling that. I think Lorde will be taking a sub spot though without doubt. Make that Chappell/Lorde and its a top set.. Even if Download got SOAD I'd still 100% opt as I've only seen them once before.

We are in a European festival sub forum, plus I don't tend to go to UK festivals unless its for 1 day. Sorry, I forget there's UK festivals nowadays. 😀😀
