Rock Werchter 2026

I would say something like this - I don't think Billie or Oasis will come; Billie is constantly linked - but I could be wrong. Maybe they'd invite Sam Fender back as he didn't play this year; but given he cancelled on them in a headliner slot? Killers doing an anniversary show for Sam's Town would be a dream.

System of a Down / Ghost / Turnstile

The Killers performing Sam's Town 20th Anniversary / Kings of Leon / Viagra Boys

The Cure / Wolf Alice / Jack White

Chappell Roan OR Charli XCX / Lorde / The Last Dinner Party (as we know Werchter loves repeat bookings)

I'd like to see Nation of Language somewhere in there as well as The Dirty Three, Pulp, Spiritbox and Sparks. Oklou for an electronic act. The War on Drugs, CMAT and TV on the Radio too please and thank you.

For the Slope as it's the best stage Big Special, The Molotovs, Catbite, Getdown Services (they're having a similiar explosion), Model/Actriz, Imminence, Welly, Pastel and Karen Dio.

Jack White won't play 3rd down. I thought that's why he might not have played this year but he didn't do festivals. His status has probably dropped a bit more than he'd like.

That's lineup take all day but Chappell over Charli.

On the InMusic thread I think they said he was due to play there but pulled the European tour quite late. Think that might've been something to do with our Saturday sub being delayed and then Kings of Leon stepping in?

maybe. He's another one I'd be happy to have back as sub but at this point would rather hear KOL again as it's been a while. Just have both haha

I would really love to see The Killers on the line up as a headliner !

Other bands that I hope to see at RW 26 :

The Cure

Muse

High Vis

Inhaler

Kings of Leon ( I think they will be there)

KOL? Only of they accept that Barn slot. This year proved once again that they just don’t sell a lot of tickets.

Can’t see Muse doing EU fests again after doing 3 years of festivals. I reckon they’ll be doing their own shows around Q3-4 of next year.

What I want to see next year (inevitable that something has to be poppy)

SOAD/My Chemical Romance

The Killers/Placebo

Paul McCartney

Lady Gaga

What I'll probably get;

KOL/Inhaler (or some other crappy co-head)

The Cure (yes I don't like The Cure, but good on those who does if they come).

Chapell Roan/The Last Dinner Party

Yungblud/Benson Boone

Other bands/artists I would like to see (so you know whos's not coming); Biffy Clyro, Pulp, Manchester Orchestra, Johnossi, Twin Atlantic, Kaizers Orchestra, Franz Ferdinand, The Hives, The Decemberists, The Glorious Sons, Fidlar, Kassi Valazza, Jon Muq, Shane Smith & The Saints, Danny Vera, Volbeat, Getdown Services, Stromae & Stephen Wilson Jr. And of course Oasis, but that's probably not going to happen.

A bit too top-heavy. Doechii won't fit in the Barn, The Last Shadow Puppets isn't a main stage opener and Lorde third down feels unrealistic. But overall some really nice names!

Hah this is great but you don't get that depth of alternative rock music at pukkelpop, maybe best kept secret at a stretch. Certainly not Werchter.

New Tame Impala being teased. Reckon they'd be a good shout for this.

Also Fleetwood Mac reunion rumours going around too - an option for Classic perhaps?

That’s where I am.  We’ll revisit next year and laugh how wrong we were:

The Cure, SOAD, The Offspring

Mumford & Sons, Vampire Weekend, HAIM

Billie Eilish/Chappel Roan, Kings of Leon, The Last Dinner Party

Stromae, Lorde, Turnstile

Was really well organized, toilets were clean, only issue was getting into the tents for some of the more popular acts, we were in the barn for Lola young and there was easily another 5k people outside watching it!

Couldn't recommend enough!

We were outside for Lola. It was fine, cuz there was atmosphere.

I'd rather this one although don't care for either Stromae or Tame Impala.

Gorillaz don't seem to be active at the moment. I know they are doing that thing in London, but unless something major changes, you can probably cross them off.

I would like to see Franz Ferdinand back on the bill next year

Gorillaz will be playing this fest in Madrid in September. So they are, somehow, active.
