You all know I love the app, and with Capaldi moving up and Prodigy staying where they were I’m certainly expecting them as the barn header

Do you think that would make Capaldi 3rd down? As TOP showing as before him on the app but a day after him?

Last years was:

Green Day - 25/10

Sam Fender - 31/10

Olivia Rodrigo - 11/11

Linkin Park - 14/11

14 names - 24/11

13 names - 06/12

20 names - 07/02

The slope - 18/02

23 names - 04/03

KOL and Jasmine 4t - 26/03

Recent years have seen headliners then a batch of names.  You’ll then get another batch just before Christmas and another in the new year.   Typically we’ll know about 30 or so before Christmas

We already got a lot more names than last year at the same date.
Will we get one more before the end of the year?

It's looking like an okay year, while lacking the wow factor for me personally... I'm glad to see no David Byrne as that makes him more likely for Roskilde, which I'm leaning more towards now (not just for line-up but for line-up + festival experience, which I felt was lacking at Rock Werchetr when I went there)....

People's thoughts on the line-up so far?

I think the one big thing I’ve took from it… that Thursday leak seems to have been accurate! Crazy that they apparently just saw it on a screen at work

For me, I’ve said before I think lineups will be more stacked throughout without the wow headliners and so far it’s working out that way (for me)

I'm out this time unfortunately, after doing the past 4 in a row. Plenty of 'nice' names that I would have been happy to see mixed in with other things, but there's not really much there to sing along or dance to. Hopefully back next year (2027) if the line-up goes back to my taste.

Seriously considering Mad Cool instead now, although I prefer a festival where I can camp. It's a shame we missed the boat on RAR this year already.

Yeah I'd agree with that assessment tbf mate

Nice nice nice!!! Fantastic drop of names with the majority of my wishlist (for this round) being there!

Sunday is now 5/5 of names I want to see, which will also probably result into some nasty clashes (e.g. APC or Kalkbrener with Moby). But I prefer that problem than the one of last year's Sunday when I could skip most of them.

Friday is the weakest day for us at the moment, I hope it will change with the next drop, or at least with a good lineup at the Slope for that day.

Not quite what I hoped for, but after the announcement of Moby and The Prodigy, I'm sure we're going. With The Cure, Gorillaz and Moby, three acts I always wanted to see and one act (The Prodigy) which was one of my all time favourite concerts (Dauwpop 2023) and I can't wait to see them again.

Besides TLDP and maybe Royel Otis, Friday looks like the weakest day in years for me personally. So hopefully, in the next drop we'll get a few more nice, energetic names for that day. In general, I'm hoping for a few more names like The Hives, The Warning, Empire of the Sun, Sons, English Teacher, David Byrne, Hayley Williams, Wolf Alice, Jade, Zara Larsson etc.

Northern Angel might be selling a ticket for RaR soon! 😅

Will be getting a ticket next week on payday. Very excited to see The XX and The Cure as two of my personal must sees I've not had the chance of seeing before.

Lots on this Rock Werchter lineup that I've not seen before, which is fun. A few like Mumford and Sons and Twenty One Pilots I like a few songs, but not enough to pay the prices to go to their own gig, so a festival is perfect to give them a go.

Fingers still firmly crossed for Wolf Alice, David Byrne and Hayley Williams to maybe make it to a later announcement. Obviously looking forward to the Slope too, few bands like Pup and Basement are touring in the right window that I think would be great there.

Man you're gonna be surprised by the XX. Their live set was so much more than I expected back in Sydney, 2018. Loved their music and did not expect them to bring it to life like that. Really, one of the best shows I've ever seen.
