Seems like a weird place that doesnt let you drink in the camping area and lets you shop in a supermarket in the actual festival1 Hahaha Thanks for the info 🙂 Any idea what it's like for, like, party favours? haha You seem to have been a lot... I know some Eastern European places are hard work, but Sziget was fine so you just never know!

So the Lidl is not actually in the village? I thought at first they just say you can't bring your own so people have to buy their alcohol from the Lidl but now I'm thinking that isn;t the case... Kinda wish I'd know this before buying my ticket.

yeah... I don't fancy paying 5EUR+ and walking into the festival site every time I want a drink though! Ha Seems quite greedy for them to force people to do that tbh... So the Lidl, does that usually sell alcohol that people can take to the camp site? Otherwise the camp site is gonna be a pretty boring and/or expensive place to be if you want to have a few drinks during the night!

After teasing the idea of coming to EC for a while, I've decided to make the trip next year as the line up is pretty sick. I was wondering a few things about the festival: it says on the website that no alcohol is allowed into the camp site. Do they sell it at the Lidl that's there? If not it's gonna cost a fortune to drink! Ha also, I've read mixed things about the weather. I would imagine it'd be hot and uncomfortable to camp, but some people are saying it always rains and it's cold? I'm British so I don't mind that, just wondering which is most likely to be true! cheers in advance 😊

That's my thoughts. Can't see Jungle being headliners... any idea whether tickets sell out fast for this festival? I'm still waiting on a few more like-ups before I make my decision (Pinkpop and Nos Alive mainly) The Massive Attack announcement has got me really tempted here though!

Who are the 3 headliners. Aside from massive attach and aecade fire there aren't any headline acts there, surely?

Oh okay... That's sad as it's far too late for me. Hope Pinkpop have a good line-up or I might sit next year out as not many of the big festivals' line-ups are piquing my interest tbh!

What are they like for checking you on the way in? I usually like to fill a small water bottle with vodka and this lasts me the day... sounds even more pertinent at this festival! Ha

Hi guys, I've seen the line-up for next year and it's looking really tasty so far! Just have a few questions about the festival and thought some may be able to help. so I was wondering about the prices of things first off (food and drink)... I've never been to Sweden but I've heard it can be pricey. For context, I'm from Manchester, UK so I'm used to paying £7/8 for drinks and £10 for meals at a festival. Is it much more at WoW? was also wondering about the after party Stay Out West thing. I'll be with my 13 year old son so I'm presuming I'll miss all this. Does this take away a big part of the festival and will I miss lots of acts? Might not be worth it otherwise. And lastly, is it quite a strict festival? I noticed people saying you aren't allowed to take drinks away from the bar area which seems weird. The rules in the FAQs seem quite restrictive so I was just a little worried it could be quite a strict place. any help would be much appreciated 😊

There are still about 20 bands/acts per day to come so they may well get pushed down... I'm hoping there'll be some good mid-sized bands to come!

Does anyone know where the new venue will be? I've book accommodation close to Neuvos Ministerios based on the guidance on MC's website -- only to discover that ifo is for the previous venue!!! You'd think they would update it beforehand! I'll be with my 12-year-old son so we definitely won't want to walk too far at night, therefore I'd need to book somewhere close to the final metro stop coming back from the festival... So it looks like that info on their website is giving directions to the previous location.. So I've gone and booked accommodation near Nuevos Ministerios! I can see already this isn't the most organised of festivals and I haven't even booked my ticket yet! do you know if I'll be okay staying there anyway? Is that some kind of main metro station or should I look at booking some different accommodation... This already seems complicated! haha

It says on the website that it's at Feria De Madrid which is to the North East of the city centre I think... Or is that the previous location? I hope not as I've just booked accommodation based on the "how to get" info on their website!

How come there are so many reservations about the new venue mate? Is it in the back arse of nowhere or something?

Does anyone know how quikcly tickets re likely to sell out? Is it over a few days/weeks or will it be fastest finger first like some of the more exclusive festivals? Do people think there will there be some other big/medium-sized names added or just smaller bands and DJs after this? Also, why are so many people concerned about the venue? Has it been announced where it is yet?
