You're probably right. My festivals experience is usually more... hectic. 6-8 shows a day at RW for example. Guess it's a different experience. Do you have any idea when should we expect the timetable? I see that last year it was published much earlier
-
Interesting. And those waiting for the strokes were able to hear, see the Bonobo show? In other words, can I wait for 1 act and still get a glimpse from the other?
-
Thanks for this helpful post! May I ask how far do you estimate the two big stages are from each other? Grande and Cascade?
-
Wait wait, aren't the paralympic games (after the olympics) on the same dates as RES? Isn't it gonna be crazily expensive and packed in Paris?
-
That applies to every show? Or just at the beginning of the day?
-
This batch has made me decide to but a ticket! What is "primary entrance", that the ticket specifies it does not include?
-
When should we expect the next wave of announcements?

I think he had a Coachella like, joint set in mind (when all 3 filled in for frank ocean)

Headliner material in every decent festival
-
In what seems like the weakest festival year in recent memory, this line up shapes up to be great for me. I'm considering whether I should buy a 4 or 3 days pass, giving up the maneskin day. How soon do you expect 3days tix to sell out? Maybe based on last year?
-
Stormzy subbed this year at RW and while he gave a proper show, the audience was a mess. It was raining and he performed before Mumford and Sons (not exactly the same audience). The audience, at least not from the front rows, seemed almost indifferent

LCD, Massive Attack? Or SZA, however unlikely?
-
If they bring LCD and MA - I'm coming back- 2023 was great
-
Well, their loss. I only got to see them this year at RW for the first time, without Tom, but they were FIRE.
-
Currently, this is my favorite lineup this summer - LCD and Massive Attack are the best headliners I could ask for this summer. However, as my friend just moved to Budapest, Sziget became a very comfortable and cheap option for me. Therefore, 2 questions, please: 1. It is my impression that Sziget and Rock En Sien tend to share acts. Especially headliners. Do you share this impression? 2. When should I expect full Festival tickets to sell out, based on previous years? I wonder if it's realistic to wait until sziget, or even LL, announce first names

Looks like King Gizzard are out

Whataya think about Stromae, making up for last year?
-
Fatboy Slim is touring this summer... a RW comeback after 25 years? (;
-
Seems like Rosklide is announcing first headliner tomorrow. If it is indeed, as rumored, Foo Fighters, I guess it makes RW even more likely?
-
Did Rex Orange County grow more popular in Belgium since his Klub C billing in 2020? He's back touring
-
Rex Orange County, hopefully?

Yeah youre right I got carried away too far But you get my point. Both her music and her show is much more of a rock festivals DNA then Dua Lipas
-
Simply because it does not happen 🙂 P!nk is many things, pop oriented, but she's not a pop-dance artist and she's rocking like hell. Billie is a fantastic performer, but it didn't happen, so I dont see how she is a relevant example. Stormzy is a rapper, irrelevant for the discussion. And as you stated - both Stromae and Max (oatw) are Belgian and they would never get the headlining spot otherwise. Take a look at the past 10 years. No fresh, internatiional, mainstream pop-dance act has been named a main stage headliner. This is not how RW invest the big money. It just does not happen.
-
I dont see Dua Lipa in the mainstage. It's not that she is not big enough (I honestly dont know), but it's extremely uncommon to see acts like her headlining RW.

Haha you got a point mate But I will say that AM were also great this summer (compared to their lousy tour in 2018)
