I think zapier is a 14 day free trial... and the clicksend is top up as you go.

Am I right to think that an app like BlueNotify (android) can get around the limitation of no notifications for accounts you follow in bluesky?  And that would lessen the need for the sms aspect perhaps?

A friend who high up at a major, as is her partner said she’d heard pulp were a rumour for special guests (which we know) but also said The Strokes. Now, I am quite sure she has been told something wrong.
 

She and work friend have got stuff very wrong before too (last year I asked about headliners and Fred Again was said) and it certainly was not first hand.
 

But I do wonder where these rumours come from. 
(They aren’t even touring).

Unless she (or they both) work for RCA who distribute a lot of Strokes/Strokes related material, I would say this is completely pie in the sky. As much as I would love it to be true, there is no reason or evidence to support them playing and certainly can’t see them playing a one off for a maximum hour slot anywhere. Would love to be wrong but really don’t see it

Yep, that looks like a made up name. Libertines based in Margate/Thanet. It's not certain. Any other bands with a Thanet connection?

This has emerged as my thinking if Kneecap as the tba is a sound assumption. I did see them at Woodsies last year but wouldn't mind seeing them again and will almost certainly be on shift for the WH slot. Also wouldn't mind catching Fat Boy Slim who follows a bit later at SL.  I had said Neil Young but am now erring to this....

FWIW, her debut is one of the best debuts of the 2010s imo and the follow up great too. Solar Power was shite though.

Im not sure of that app (im an apple user) but sounds like it might... I always set up SMS as traditionally its been more reliable than getting 4G/5G but tbh i had great signal on the farm last year so maybe not needed!

That's very disappointing, was really looking forward to that and being in the SE Corner ahead of the headliners on the main stages finishing... sigh

I've tested bluenotify on a couple of feeds and it does indeed pop up at the top with new posts, replies or whatever you choose

Yeah ditto, just as I settled on that plan😀. Assume the app will follow suit(still showing on that). Was gonna scour to see if any other slots if they were looking to make it even more secret given the scent had been picked up already on that SL slot but think prob just a safety issue given the hype etc.

Secret Glasto put out an Example teaser on Instagram (below) but apparently it’s not the Woodsies slot.
