Supergrass were brilliant last time they played. Forget the year, 2023 maybe?

It was what I meant. But I thought it was the dreaded Other Stage slot. Pyramid is better. But I'd still prefer higher up in Westies for example.

There's plenty in the undercard to keep me happy, my main concern at this point is that it may work out that I have loads of clashes throughout the day and nothing of interest for me in the headliners. 0 interest in any of the pyramid or other stage headliners, so I'm hoping for the smaller stages to pick up some of the acts I'm really keen on.

Basement Jaxx a glaring omission for me. Wondering whether to get London tickets now or hold fire. Chase & Status also a missed opportunity, would fare better than Loyle Carner in that slot.

Big miss is Chappell Roan for me. Hoping second addition.

Where does she play though? She's a co-headliner at R+L, a slot generally equal to Pyramid sub or Other headliner.

 

They're all taken. Well, granted, nobody has actually confirmed Biffy Clyro to be second on the Friday from what I can see, and the same for Noah Kahan. (The Guardian has specifically namechecked Raye for the position on Saturday.)

 

Unless she's willing to play lower - and I'd doubt it - then she's not there. Likewise, imagine her fee has gone through the roof since the middle of last year. Maybe the festival just looked, balked and said no thanks.

I really think Charli is big enough to headline Pyramid, and probably should be above Olivia Rodrigo, who I'd have subbing. 

 

Still, lots to be happy about. Maybe missing one or two (Pulp, Jamie xx) but still looking great
