Apparently Emily was there last night 👀

Someone has a photo with her. I've no doubt they are a big option for 2027. Regardless of what Liam has said about the Pyramid, no chance do they not take an opportunity better that 2004 show. Might be wrong but I fully think the fallow shift has something to do with them.

Haven’t seen anything less than 5 star reviews. Liam’s voice also sounds back to its best.

Going next Saturday and really hope they’re not sort of over their “humbled” look they had last night - think they were genuinely just happy being back and a bit overwhelmed with it. Doing so many gigs wonder if they’ll slip back into the arrogance.

Was there actually a 'shift', or do you just mean because it was always 5 years in the past?

I was very surprised they didn't do the fallow year in 2027, off the back of the Covid cancellations

What an exciting prospect.. I imagine there were a multitude of reasons for doing the fallow in 2026, but Emily knowing that Oasis are keen for 2027 would definitely help.

Surely Oasis would need to release some new music before then to keep it fresh?

Yeah the 5 years in the past thing. There is a reason why they've pulled it earlier and I think this is it. Let's be honest, Oasis themselves know their plans should it go to plan. If there was any thought that Glastonbury could be next year then the falloe 100% wouldn't be happening as conversations would have already happened. One of them only subbed in 2022 and the other has played a couple of times.

Yes, this run of the tour is obviously all about the return, but that will only hold for so long. 2027 could be a field full of people who have already seen the exact set list

Not all the same people will get tickets though. They are doing London and Manchester this year. Europe and next year being Knebworth is different too so it will open up 27 for a return to Manchester and Glastonbury. You just have to plan it

Today is obviously not the day to be critical of Oasis. They’ve smashed it last night, I’m off to see them next weekend and cannot wait. One observation from the set list though, it consists entirely of songs that have been performed by either Noel or Liam in recent years. Songs like Hindu Times, Lyla, anything from the later albums would’ve been an exception to this. Talk Tonight and Fade Away are a couple that imo could’ve been missed off for something else but are songs that are ready to go. They’ve rehearsed for what, 6 weeks? They’ve pulled this tour off with minimal effort and it does make me wonder if this has got the legs to run until 2027..

Can't see them eeking it out for three summers. Noel knows what number he wants to get to and then that'll be that.

Stood well away from each other and next to no interaction.

Hasn't that always been part of their staging?

Stayed away from the setlist. Other than Ive been told it's "Early stuff"

Re Glastonbury / or 2027 in general. Thry have enough hits to do a much varied setlist, to keep the tours fresher. As much as old tunes can be fresh - but you know what I mean.

GnR for example are just playing the same tunes.

I wouldnt bet on them doing 27, but they might just do the festival circut that year.

Quick question to anyone who went or is going to Cardiff …. did anyone use the Ticketmaster transfer?  My daughter bought the tickets for us so they are in her Ticketmaster account and need to be transferred over to me.  They are still showing with the transfer button greyed out.  I’m assuming this will change later in the week (going on Friday) but just wondered if anyone used this or had any issues for Cardiff?  Ta x

    • Interesting to read. It's mostly why we stopped going a few years back even though it's the nearest big festival to home. The post-exams timing and location makes it a rites of passage first festival for people in a big area. Understandably that leads to a bit of giddiness. Think lineup would need to be a lot more my cup of tea to be enticed back. Friends who are there are having a good time tho and no rain is a good thing for up there.
    • I honestly didn't know it had, I still thought it was where the view overlooked the lake and view.   I think my decision not to attend this year at least was justified. Biffy was the big draw but after Finsbury I knew they wouldn't play what I want to hear again and well work also got in the way. Believed interesting to hear if Libertines were any good as they were also a pull but Sunday did nothing for me really with all my acts on Friday and Saturday.

    • Knocked Loose have been announced for Wacken, that's them at Bloodstock as well   I think they'd headline over Malev
    • I hate tradmill running with a passion lol. Yeah the 1km reps are the one along with hill reps. That's what I did last time.  It's very a very hot summer and job circumstances to stay at the consistent level I was for the marathon earlier in the year. I've got a full set of the main distance new PBs this year. 10k isn't a problem most days but even today I went out deciding just over 5 mile was enough between recovery cruise and steady.
