Hozier's manager is Caroline Downey, director of MCD Productions.

MCD owns 49.9% of Festival Republic, (50.1% is owned by Live Nation UK).

MCD's parent company is Live Nation International.

R&L is run by Festival Republic.

Governors Ball is run by Live Nation.

Technically, GovBall is run by Founders Entertainment who's parent company is Live Nation, but very nice otherwise.

When is lolla expected ? @Suprefan

I'm pretty young and its come out of nowhere for me (i did delete tiktok though in like april or may last year). I was surprised by R&L and thought it was a mad booking and they f**ked off but both sides of the pond he is getting these bookings. Fair play i guess (crap though!)

Mid March. Outside Lands will follow and then ACL is usually May. Shakey Knees and Riot likely joined at the hip so May ish will be their time frame too.

Lolla is gonna be JT, O Rod, Rufus Du Sol a K Pop act and other randomness up top.

Secret set innit.  Seems they were lined up to do one in 2020.

so theyre gonna tbd Mumford and no Oasis. Great move there.

Nine Inch Nails is in Amsterdam June 29 which obviously lowers their chances. But Im curious to see what they do between the uk dates and that cause 2 weeks sure is a big break.

Thinking Graspop > Berlin > (Prague/Krakow) > Vienna (27 June) > Amsterdam

Vienna leaked, rest is educated guess

I'm sure that when the offer came in from Noel Gallagher to do a secret set in 2025 Emily personally picked up the phone and blew raspberries down the line at him.

That was 2019 though, it was really during lockdown that the fanbase seemed to grow - lot of his old songs became TikTok hits.

With it looking like TikTok is going to have to stop operations in the USA this weekend, makes you wonder what the actual trend will be for making pop hits happen when one considers that TikTok was going better in how it was working to attract young people's attention.

I don’t think Oasis were an option for a TBD

so the offer is now £1,000. That should be enough.  Just gotta sell a few boxes of t shirts to cover that.

There isn't a festival in the world that would pay them more than what they've grossed for their own shows and they aren't playing any other festivals instead, so your point is dead.

You know Im kidding right. We have nothing to talk about right now so we can keep being cheeky about how Glasto pays artists nothing.  Theyll cash in on the festival circuit next year. Glasto doesnt have $10 million for one act, but Coachella does.

Maybe they should start supporting some charities instead!

Just because we can it doesn't mean we have to

Hmm not fantastic that.

Why are a load of them all Jan (or last year) then the rest in March? Bit random - is there much in feb?

    • 13th Primavera (Thursday was definitely making me feel like this was the cursed year).  Blood Orange was such a party by the end of their set but we all knew that rain storm was approaching.  So gutted Massive Attack didn't play after the false hope of a new rescheduling, especially knowing that Elizabeth Fraser & Horace Andy were backstage with them!  Managed a bit of Melt Banana but was just so over the weather by that point.   Friday was awesome, Rilo Kiley were so much fun.  Never been the biggest Cure fan but made the effort for them after Thursday & Robert Smith sounds like he did back in the 80s.  PinkPantheress & Viagra Boys were also great.   The highlight for me was Sudan Archives on the Saturday, she was stunning & with the Olivia Rodrigo surprise set too it made up for the Thursday sh*t show.  Dijon & Knocked Loose also superb.   Shoutout to Cardiacs on the Tuesday too, they were so LOUD, played a storming set.
    • OK, never mind, I'll take normal Nine Inch Nails.
    • Probably my least favourite of the five editions I've been to, but still plenty good enough for me to go again. Weirdly, I was just totally running out of stamina a lot earlier into the night than I remember happening in the past. I feel like I missed a lot of the weirder sets on the smaller stages as I was just totally cooked. Not Primavera's fault, obviously. Maybe I'm just getting old - or maybe I need to pace my drinking better...   Anyway - is David Byrne a realistic get for next year? Certainly hoping so.
    • watching clips of the cure in Barcelona, wow 2 hours 25 minute set. That's gonna be tough on the Sunday but can't bloody wait for it
