Agreed mate.  She’s not missing him headlining the big one.

Which only makes sense if they dont want it to be a sh*t show at Other Stage field which it very much can be. Neil Young wont be packed and who else would go against Charli  to ease the numbers. In 22 the tent was half full according to my gf who was able to watch comfortably with lots of room to dance.

Oh yeah, so the evil article doesnt even have or want to give Olivia a headline slot in favor of the senior citizens and Healy and Co? What are they smoking. That def would get some backlash if you went all male with 2 over the age of 70 and you have all females as subs for example. And what kind of reasoning will Emily give IF that was the actual reality though. ''we had these absolute legends just say yes so we just had to tell the girls, sorry not this year. And The 1975 are just incredible, we couldnt make room for anything''. MY ASS. Again, the exact sh*t the festival wants to avoid and theyre back at it again. Girl wants to have 3 female headliners so badly only to have to pivot back to the old way.

Damn.  I must have missed an announcement.

Oh no... you're just guessing again and got yourself all angry with what you guessed. 🤣

Stevie Wonder to sub the pyramid…

The 1975, Pulp

Biffy Clyro, Jamie XX

Neil Young, Stevie Wonder

Charli XCX, Deftones

Olivia Rodrigo, Chappell Roan

Loyle Carner, Elbow

I love Neil Young, and think he's 100% a headliner and anyone who tries to claim otherwise is comically mistaken.

But he isn't playing above Stevie Wonder.

Stick. Means I can watch Biffy, Deftones, Chappell & O Rod.

Rumour is that they're moving the Pyramid Stage to the Other Field and the Other Stage will be in the Pyramid Field for one night only to accommodate the 250k + people who will be at Charli XCX.

After this summer/brat it’s gonna be packed so need something bit to take punters away. Surprised they’ve not got Charli & Olivia as 2 of the headliners tbh.

So you're now getting yourself worked up into a tizzy about how you imagine Glastonbury are going to respond to questions that won't be asked about a lineup that isn't going to be announced?

Who are you even talking to at this point?

Pulp subbing 1975?! whatever next?

With that sunday lineup might be an early exit for me if I'm all jaded and missing my bed/shower/toilet.

I'm not.  A lot of the media palaver hasn't really translated into huge sales or her tour selling like hot-cakes.   Lots of headlines and think-pieces but someone like Sabrina Carpenter has done way bigger numbers in the UK.  Add another 12 months and Brat Summer will feel like an aeon away.

SZA's streaming numbers dwarf Chazza and look how that worked out.

I swear she sold out her arena tour did she not? Can’t really use streaming numbers as a metric, ticket sales have to be the way to go.

SZA is not a good comparison as that was slow r&b, whereas Charli would attract all the partygoers on-site.

Though Other Stage closer still better than Pyramid.

That's a wild statement!  Lots of partygoers would go nowhere near Charli XCX.

Sold out but took months, whereas Sab Carp was adding extra shows when folk were still in enormous queues for the initial batch.

    • Absolutely love her record, System. Definitely an album that rewards a bit of commitment.   She's right on my must-see list. Hoping she's in the Walled Garden, as I think her sound might be a bit muddy if she's early-ish in Far Out.   Ben
    • Same here, I kept trying to go on A View From My Seat to see if each block was worth it. So vague!
    • Ok, I’ve had time to process the experience now, so here is my review.   The good Barcelona - what a beautiful place! What lovely people! The city was like another headliner. Stayed in El Poblenou, and the bars, cafes and restaurants were perfect. Avalanches - Absolutely spectacular, euphoric set. Fantastic stage. Possibly enhanced by substances that I timed right, for a change. Added bonus that I don’t really remember the queue. The Cure - I’ve been a fan for 34 years, and never got round to seeing them, so this was a dream come true. The XX - The sound was exceptional. The lights and setlist perfect, giving each member their moment. Was really loud where I was standing (between the front and the sound desk), but i didn’t notice any chatters - even during the quieter moments. Also loved Men I Trust, .bd. , Big Thief, NewDad and Gorillaz. The food within Parc Del Fòrum was also a lot better than I was expecting.   The bad People talking non-stop throughout some of the sets, and shouting to be heard over the music. I had to move 3 times during Wet Leg just to be able to hear the band over the crowd. It’s probably an age thing, but I just don’t understand it. You’ve paid how much to watch these acts, and now you’re standing with your back to the stage, missing the music and ruining the experience for everyone else? Odd behaviour.   The weather apocalypse on Thursday. I genuinely thought I would be able to tough it out. I couldn’t. Left after Geese. The lack of communication from Primavera didn’t help.   Whilst it was lovely to be by the sea, and the sunsets were very pretty, the site is a bit…concrete-y, isn’t it? I kind of longed for some grass and trees. Often found ourselves standing on the steps by the Adidas yard by some bamboo. This was probably a subconscious need for some nature. The fact that some of the nature included cockroaches did not negatively affect the experience.   My daughter, for running away when she saw the drug dogs in the queue on Thursday, meaning that I lost her for the whole evening. She hid her stash under a bench, and it miraculously survived the storms.   Also, can someone explain the point in having a wristband, when you still have to show your ticket every time you enter and leave the site?   Finally, I would like to nominate myself as one of the bad things about this year’s Primabera. I should have done Primavera a lot better. It was my first one, so I’m still learning, but I think I left too early on the Thursday. Left after the Cure on Friday, so I would be full of energy on Saturday, and then barely made it to the end of Gorillaz anyway, meaning I missed Overmono, Skrillex, Skullcrusher, Kneecap, and a few more I would have liked to see.   All in all Amazing lineup. Decent food options. Cupra and Cupra Pulse stages were very impressive. Weather was perfect for 3 out of the 4 days i attended.   It was always likely to be a ‘one and done’ for me, but we had a blast, even if I am starting to get too old for all this.
    • That Wednesday Razzmatazz slot is one of the best/prime slots!
    • If they fancy chucking something together last knockings, i'm up for it! 😄 Got to get a cat sitter, but i'm 95% there
