2025 Headliners

It comes to something when I tune into this into thread and I am excited for 1975 when other posts are all about fender, OR and Fred. 1975 are a cut above all 3 IMO but still well short of headliner material

I haven't read back too far here, and I hate to pile on to all of the sh*t news and rumours of The 1975, but that "nuclear" pop star with stadiums coming... Not Rihanna.

 

The playing field looks weaker by the day when it comes to headliners.

 

I think we're potentially looking at Olivia actually being the biggest name of the three.

The 1975, Olivia and Fender wouldn't shock anyone at this point.

There's definitely some interest in Coachella on here, most people obviously have a passion for festival culture generally beyond the super fence. But eFests' resident US correspondent seems to constantly want to create an "us v them" scenario, comparing one against the other, when, in fact, they have very little in common, apart from being arguably the most globally recognised festival organisations/events. Personally, I look forward to Coachella getting underway as it arguably kicks off festival season in earnest. I'd love to experience it and may well do in 2026, if anything to see what all the fuss is about. I'm sure it's great.

 

But anyway, back to the headliners.

I definitely need to know how many cash registers Coachella has. It’s the best indicator of how the festival has it’s fingers on the pulse of the music scene

Which suits me as im sure there will be plentiful other superb bands on at the other stages.

Can't lie I didn't have one headliner other the main stages I was interested in on the others stages except for Sunday in the end.

 

With the overall cost of everything, that trio might cost me £75 but it'll save me upto £600

Yes what I meant to say is that nowadays I think the festival may be including the legend in that group to cover all the bases. Especially as there aren't many headliner sized acts left.

Is she though?  Other than being in the country, do we have any other indication she is locked in. I have some doubts after the BST announcement on glasto Friday and Manchester gigs on the Mon / Tue. 
 

Despite all the doom and gloom here, I hope to be going with my 15 year old and a headline trio of 1975, o-rod and fender would be right up his street. Kids, eh.

I expect she'd have been announced as a BST festival exclusive if that were to be the case.
