Details of how to obtain the Glastonbury Registration number will be provided to the winners. 26) The winner and their Guest will be required to verify their identity as the named ticket holder in order to gain access to the event. I really should read the T's & C's 😔 Thanks for the update
moogster
I'm sure they wouldn't be picky about arranging something really... At worse cancel your tickets and give someone a chance in the resale. The tour of the festival in the weeks before is quite a nice one (if you can get there of course)
incident
"Details of how to obtain the Glastonbury Registration number will be provided to the winners" So there's definitely no requirement to have one now, just need to create one if/when you win. Leyrulion
"The Prize winners will be notified by email and/or first-class post within 5 days of the Draw Date" Make sure your check your spam! You can definitely enter someone else's name by post if you wanted to. Give their contact details.

Expires in ten days, so you would think they'd let you know you've won before April 1st. Just don't pay your balance if you win. It’s more the fact the reg I have would already be in use

Makes no difference to them as the original ticket just goes back into the resale pot.

Indeed … I’m entering anyway .. the cause is one I’d not yet donated to so it makes sense from purely that angle
broken monkey
Entered the draw. Great cause even if we don't win. Love that the festival always have their fingers on the pulse when in comes to helping those much less fortunate than ourselves.
clarkete
Seems a great idea to do it as a crowd funder - plenty of people will enter for the prizes, but some others can chuck in a few quid simply to support a great cause. oneeye
Entered, gotta be in it to win it, and a great cause as always
mufcok
Probably a daft question, but I assume that March 8th close date stays the same regardless of how many entries they get? (wanna do it when I get paid, ideally)

Hugh Jass II
Does it matter who is buying them if it's going to charity?

There was a lot of debate about auction vs raffle in the first place as the very wealthy already have a lot of advantages in trying to find alternative ways into Glastonbury if they don't get tickets in the normal way so yes it doesn't matter from the charities perspective but in terms of normal people having opportunities to access the same prizes and experiences I think a raffle does feel more Glastonbury and I for one am glad that they have done a raffle that for a much more modest price gives everyone a chance of winning these unique experiences.
