Does that billing constitute a headliner? If so well done to him. Looking forward to Worthy Farm and I’m a recent Fred convert

Second stage headliner (its basically the same size as the main stage though)

Look at the demographic difference between the two festivals. I would imagine that The Prodigy would be a bigger draw amongst the Glastonbury crowd.

Parklife 2022 tickets: Line-up, festival dates, prices, how to get pre-sale and location explained

Look at who did those 2 slots last year - Megan who headlined Other and is arguably even less glasto demographic and Lewis Capaldi who is that size if not bigger.

I meant the Scotland summer ad but maybe he has a Glasgow show too planned.

seems to be rather sparse this summer in the UK by all accounts (which is smart to be fair, playing every festival under the sun never leads to bigger slots - many artist could take note)

Apparently doing the 3 big shows.  Parklife, Connect and Glastonbury

Just announced Madison Square Garden for this weekend!

edit - that is the Skrillex/Four Tet set rather than just Fred solo

And sold out in 15 mins.  Which is a bit mad as I think the capacity is 20,000!  Goti be in for a shout of Other Stage (or at least West Holts) headliners.  Think a set at Arcadia would be beyond rammed.

Yeah think it’s just gonna be Other headliner now tbh. I very much had my doubts but his huge popularity is inarguable, and if he’s up against GnR like is rumoured then he’ll pull a massive crowd.

I thought the same but admit Other stage seems more likely.

Up against GNR would suit me fine tbh.

Its that cap because its 360 in the round. If it was end stage with standing its only 13,500.

and since when did american popularity matter now....

Of course Skrillex will have been the catalyst in shifting those tickets but there's no doubting Fred's ever increasing global popularity. He seems to be working hard to perpetuate that too, using the power of social media to generate interest.

They have a funny dynamic those three. You've got the extroverted Sonny and Fred leading the charge with Kieran just beaming in the background, happy to enjoy the ride from the backseat.

Come on Perez, not every post has to be a provocative Merica vs the World conversation. Lighten up a little.

    • Muse will be about but the issue with Muse is that they’ll have the pick of doing IOW, BST, Glasto, R&L or big parks/stadiums.

    • Not sure what this means for 2027 but it looks like Holt Farm's website and email are both now inactive and unavailable.   It'll be a shame if they don't operate for 2027 as it was an excellent alternative to the other off-site offerings.   Fingers crossed they're just enjoying their downtime 🤞
    • Deftones, Blink, Muse?   Deftones as the next bump up makes all the sense, Blink as the "band that has never played before" and round out with Muse as its been a long time since they headlined and they have a new album coming which seems on the heavier side from the singles so far.   I could see Muse do their own tour to be fair, maybe MCR in their place? Could also see Deftones switched out for Slipknot/SOAD depending on who is about.
    • I have no issue with the Primavera crowd in most respects. They’re always friendly, respectful and no hint that there could be trouble at any point.   However…the talking is horrific here. The xx was pretty much ruined for me due to people having conversations with their mates the whole way through. Noticed it from all different nationalities across the weekend…English, Irish, Spanish etc. There seems to be no understanding of the nuances of when it’s okay to talk and when it isn’t. And obviously the sound being quiet at a lot of spots on the main stages exacerbates the issue. That alone has made me reconsider whether I will be coming back, it would probably take a lineup as good as this year (unlikely)
