Harry Styles is probably the most popular male performer anywhere right now. His stadium shows sell out in no time. Maybe though he could come on as a guest during Reg’s set (waiting for @Gnomicide to say he can’t as he’s in Czech Republic that night)

He has an appointment in a clothes shop in Berlin on the Sunday.

Bit of a shame about harry styles, I was kind of looking forward to him! Thought he would have been a fab sub for Elton. Although if the ~leaks~ that were revealed yesterday have any weight it'll be the 1975 which makes less sense but is of course very reliable and true.

Still vaguely wonder when The Libertines will disintegrate. They just appear to be sustaining on pure vibes, which isn't too different to their whole existence in the first place.

Tbh wouldn't mind some new material from them. Anthems For Doomed Youth was actually pretty good all things considered. Though they seem pretty happy doing what they're doing at the moment.

There is a very very marginal chance that Harry sees opening for Elton's final UK show as a high honour and does it anyway, but I wouldn't put £1 on it.

Sorry if this is a bit random, is there a reason people don’t think Harry Styles can sub Elton, a friend has been told this was happening but I have it in my head that it wasn’t possible but his tour dates seem to be free

Playing Belgium on the Saturday and isn’t doing back to back in different venues, yet alone countries, anywhere.

TBF he could do with some new threads

Rude. I think he looks great. Very 70’s Bowie/Elton/Glam. Not everyone can pull off a blouse, pearls and v-neck sweater but he looks fucking ace in it.

I still could see her doing a secret set on the Saturday, maybe they turned it down last year to do it this summer instead?

I agree - too soon to headline but an unannounced Park set is perfect for her

The 1975 and Florence both seem like good candidates to be the ‘big’ secret act of this year, although I was saying exactly the same thing last year and we got Ezra so who knows. Flo’s dates are awfully convenient though.

Flo does like getting messed up with her friends at Glasto so might just be that

Have we ruled out Rhianna with a post-Super Bowl announcement?

Apparently she was in early talks to do Coachella but decided against it so probably unlikely.

Also, the headliners are Arctic Monkeys, Guns N Roses and Elton, so there’s that.

    • Three Scottish bands with a bunch of hits behind them, must be more to be added to this lineup as it's over 3 days, targeting the local crowd rather than people travelling methinks.
