Any predictions on what will be on the shortlist tomorrow?

I reckon Little Simz and Black Country New Road are certainties. I'd really like to see Spiritualized on there - my album of the year so far.

Skin by Joy Crookes surely has to be in there.

Everything Everything’s most recent album was their best since Get To Heaven, would love to see them pop up.

Foals’ new album is probably ‘6 Music’ enough to be in with a shout too.

Think we’ll almost certainly see Wet Leg, Dave and Self Esteem although there’s always one big omission from the presumed frontrunners.

Little Simz or Self Esteem seem like the obvious winners to me. Think I might put some money on the latter assuming she’s a cert to be on the shortlist.

Yeeesh, no BC,NR is a big miss for me. I know they can't actually perform at the ceremony, but I can see it being in and around the top of many end of year lists. 

Backing Wet Leg personally but it's a fairly open field this year.

Little Simz for me - its a masterpiece of an album. Self Esteem close second

Reads a bit like a Brit award list to me. I think Little Simz will win, but it's not for me this year.

No Dave is very stupid. Even if it’s unlikely he’d have won twice in a row, that album was more than worthy of a nom.

Self Esteem is my personal favourite, though also love the Yard Act album. Like Little Simz and Wet Leg albums, they would be decent winners too. Not listed to Nova Twins, but want to check them out now

Rebecca quite clearly has the potential to get even better in the future, which might count against Self Esteem winning. Whereas it’s quite possible that Wet Leg and Sam Fender never get nominated again.

£24 didn't seem too bad to see a variety of these artists.. never been before but thought why not!

Should absolutely go to Simz. That album is fantastic.

However no BCNR is shocking. That is one of the best rock records in years. Dave, The Smile and Fontaines are all big misses too.

She's already used a lot of grit and determination to get this far and I'd like to see it rewarded. 

In terms of album as a complete work I think Little Simz possibly edges it but in terms of energy, hard work and making lyrics meaningful and uncomfortable for people Self Esteem has done great work.

Harry's House is no where near as good as Fine Line and no where near as good as any of the others on the list. Sorry, Hazza!

Got tickets for it. First time going. 

Very surprised BCNR isn't up for it. Would of been interesting to see a winner that didn't peform.

My vote is for Little SImz of Self Esteem.
