Why do most of these predictions not have GNR, Lizzo, Capaldi on Sat Pyramid as per Neil’s info btw?

Didn't know that was what had been said. I only come on here occasionally for this period of speculation between New year and poster drop lol. Too much bit ching to keep up with in some of the threads!

Personally I'd love to see them headline West holts on the Sunday, similar to Bicep last year. That was the perfect way to end the festival.

Nope. Not against Elton thanks!!

Let’s have him on the Friday!

Belive Royal blood are conspicuously absent from supporting Muse on their tour on one date? Friday from memory. Think like the Black Keys their star has waned a bit though too. Know they were close with Arctics, as are Qotsa, but would be a v male 1,2,3 which is why I have Qotsa before GnR

Good point forgot that re royal blood

Not sure they are the size for it anymore, theres definitely better options for glasto. I will definitely be there though wherever they are!

Are we thinking Jamie xx is possible then? I know he’s doing a festival in America a couple of days before but 👀

Oh my gosh this line-up would be great.

Friday run of Bleachers, Ezra Furman, Regina Spektor and Rosalia.

Saturday run of BCNR, HER, Alvvays and Fred Again.

Sunday run of Pulp, Black Midi, City & Colour, Bloc Party & Elton.

What a weekend!

Enter Shikari just announced a new album and tour for this year. Pretty sure they’ve not done glasto since 2015 and would be the perfect sub for The Prodigy. 🤞🤞

I don't think Shikari are anywhere near other size sub? When they last played they headlined JP - don't think they have grown much since then

    • well, we might know by the end of next month if they drop the lineup early again
    • I'm definitely not camping 🙂.  My 17 year old Daughter and her friends are there 3 days and commuting back to Sheffield each day as didn't want to camp .  I am taking and picking up the Saturday so thought I may as well get a ticket as love Fontaines DC - need to do a lot of research on the other acts though to fill my day.    I walked through the camp site other year the day Arctic Monkeys played and it was like a War Zone.  My Son has camped a couple of times but didn't fancy my Daughter staying over.
    • Not at all impressed with Polanski saying "noone should be barred from public life" wrt the Tory neo-nazi. I really don't think "no nazis in politics" should be an excessive standard.
    • Dug into Milkweed some more and this was a brilliant suggestion. Thank you 🙂   This will come as no surprise, but I have been told that there are some band substitutions to come.
    • Yeah, I think it's important to differentiate between a stage that's just a platform for the artist to walk on (which can be assembled fairly quickly and without too much difficulty), and the custom staging that you get in big productions where there's a whole world underneath.   Using the Eras tour as an example the stage extending out into the stadium field has all sorts - lifts that go up or down - down most importantly as this allows performers to enter or to leave the stage as needed. There's passageways to get from one part of the stage to another. There's what are effectively dressing rooms set aside for costume changes. There's spare instruments (and techs to look after them) so if something goes wrong above they can be swapped out in the space of seconds. There's even a track and dolly system running the full length of the stage so that Taylor can be moved from one end to the other faster than she'd be able to walk.   I don't know the specifics of the Madonna tour to the same degree but my understanding is that a lot of the same techniques are used.
