  1. Phew! I was worried we’d have too much because of the extra duffel bag as well as our two big rucksacks!
  2. Will all this be ok to take on the coach ya reckon? The duffel bag on the right has our wellies in it ! Plus there will be a small day bag to take on the Coach with us
  3. Thanks! We’ve still not bought anything, Trying to chose stuff that’s good enough and that is light enough to take on the coach with us is proving slightly difficult so again, any recommendations for sleeping bags and mats then feel free to share 😁
  4. Hi sorry only just seen this, Looking at getting our own new gear to be honest We've still not bought anything though So what thickness would you recommend to save having to take a foam mat as well as a self inflating mat?
  5. We are in the same boat, First timers, Arriving Wednesday and by coach and wanting somewhere quiet(ish) At night We've been looking at Darble (near coach drop off) and the two campsites on the hills - Hitchin & Lime Kiln, These look like they are quite far from everything at night so will be quiet i imagine, Only thing from what i've read is hitchin & lime kiln are on slopes but i have no idea how bad the slopes are!
  6. i probably won't take any beer with me to be honest, already be carrying loads of stuff with us
  7. Whats Darble like for camping? was just looking at the map and perhaps lime kiln and hitchin just might be too steep and a walk back every night might not be ideal for us who aren't that fit
  8. Can anyone recommend some decent sleeping bags and mats (pref self inflating ones) for Glastonbury? Since we haven't been before we weren't sure how chilly it got at night so not entirely sure what to get equipment wise, we both get really cold feet when going to bed haha but also get really hot once we are asleep i did see this mat on go outdoors, looks decent to me? https://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/15979403/berghaus-peak-self-inflating-mat-xl-15979403
  9. thank you! yeah we noticed coaches go to Gate A which is why we considered Lime Kiln or Hitchin Hill But we are worried about the slopes, is it really that bad?
  10. Yeah we will be arriving by coach on the Wednesday around lunch time
  11. Only two of us (a couple) 31 and 37, probably at the stages, my missus isn't into any dance music so i very much doubt we will be heading to the naughty corner every night haha We are quite boring and don't mine peace and quiet 😄

    2023 Stage Predictions

that would be one hell of a friday line up!
  13. We are getting the coach down from Manchester on the Wednesday, As this is our first time we aren't sure how much stuff we can take with us? Theres only two of us we were thinking two rucksacks, a tent and a small backback that will probably come on board with us, maybe some chairs too if we cant fit them in our rucksacks, would this be ok?
  14. It's our first ever Glastonbury this year, We will be coming down by coach but we are unsure on where to camp, we were thinking on one of the hill sites but not sure if sleeping on a slant would be ideal! Not really fussed about the late night stages so don't really need to be near them any suggestions?
