Because I can’t make it this year I was kind of hoping you all could take the hit for me and endure a washout so that the pattern could be reset and next year would be a stunner. But it looks like we are kicking the wet festival can down the road again (because that is how it works, scientifically)

I really feel for you. I'm not mad keen on the higher temperatures being forecast, but my only memory of The Proclaimers is it just being really nice.

You're not walking around in a cardigan or anything are you? It's genuinely worrying, this kind of reaction to heat is really quite extreme, it's possible there may be a medical issue.

🤣🤣🤣 Yeah the car today was showing 30 degrees.... drove to Cheshire oaks to pick up my new rain jacket that now won't be needed and it went to 31 degrees....iam sure @The Nalworks for mountain warehouse and needs to boost wellie and waterproof sales

My car thermostat showed 30° this afternoon about 1ish but I’m convinced that has to have been wrong. It was hot and humid but no way was it 30.

It felt as if someone was burning a hole in my head at the stage, the sun seemed to be right above the Pyramid right at me.... it helped me when we left the stage.

I wasnt as bad as my mate was tbh. He was in a real bad way.

Mate is ginger.. he is normally alright tbf. For whatever reason, that Saturday he crumbled. He dealt with Boomtown last year in 35 degree heat. Said it wasnt that enjoyable though.

It’s just updating now. Mon - thu pretty much dry so far. Tiny bit of light rain Wednesday afternoon but that’s it. Temps 22/23

I had a moment too in 2019 on the Saturday after being out in the heat most of the afternoon, about an hour before Jade Bird came on.  Was just exhausted and I'm a heat lover.  It was very tough but eventually found some shade and plenty of water and got back on track. If I struggled though I can imagine some people really struggled.  It was glorious sunshine.
