To make a splash.

I think everything they do makes a splash tbh.

I’m happy to go on record here and say if they do get to playing live shows and they do play Glastonbury then they’re at least sub headlining if not headlining a stage.

Baby Keem - there to guest with Kendrick and playing in Brixton on the Monday.

Although I have no idea how big he is so probably not.

would fit the John Peel slot probably, no?

My prediction for the Park TBA - Anderson Paak, he's also playing a House of Vans London show the day after

He's supporting RHCP on the Saturday in London...

And in Italy on the Friday, feel four dates on the bounce might be a tad unlikely

I doubt it. If he’s there, it’ll be just to come out with Kendrick. Glastonbury isn’t really his crowd all in all and it’d be a bit of a strange act to have as a secret set.

Have we ever been this close to the festival with absolutely no idea who two major TBAs are going to be? It's either so massive everyone has signed NDAs, or such a let down it's not worth leaking.

Or it’s just The 1975 and Paolo and we’re reaching/hoping that it’s gonna be something better.

Someone on Discord is saying they're friends of friend with Paolo and they've this morning confirmed he's playing Saturday but is attending the whole weekend

Somebody on here said they’d heard he’s playing the Rabbit Hole and there’s a convenient gap/TBA that might well end up being him.

But then, this Discord person might just be lying about being in the know and recycling Neil’s info.

To be fair the Discord person started by saying "Not sure where it places him, but Neil's info about Paolo Saturday is definitely right"

Then went on to explain they knew a friend of friend

At this stage, it's all we've got

I really know nothing about him other than his relationship to Kendrick so fair enough. Just figured it may be worth posting as an option.

Sharon Van Etten is surely going to be one of them with her in the UK/Ireland for five days running up to the festival and the new album too?

I just can't see any reason for Shazza to be a TBA.

I've chalked her up as one that was in talks but it didn't work out given the competition for spots this year.

The Smile in France on Friday night and Luxembourg Monday night. But given Thom and Jonny's relationship to the festival, I don't think it's out the realms of possibility for them to fly back for the weekend.

Yep, The Smile and TWOD for those Sunday slots. Calling it

Seems like we've got very little on the WG Thursday night options. How about Self Esteem? Based on absolutely no actual evidence, but consider:

- Is 'in conversation' on WG on the Saturday.

- Is both free & about the right 'size' of act.

- I'd really like it to be because I want to see her but her JP slot isn't convenient for me due to other clashes.

Imagine being the other side of the festival and finding out that the big surprise in JP is The War On Drugs. You'd laugh your cock off.

I reckon it's either Jack White, Arcade Fire or The 1975. Jack White makes the most sense, I don't know if they've been ruled out or not and The 1975 are shite.

The latest rumbling was "huge, pyramid level act", but otherwise Self Esteem is as good a shout as anyway.

I'd rather see The War On Drugs than Jack White, the 1975 or even The Killers.

Ah fair enough, I'd somehow missed that, cheers. Probably wouldn't describe her in those terms so I'll manage my expectations, although squeezing a "huge" act on WG with so little on elsewhere does seem a little risky to me.

Of all the vaguely realistic names, them or Arcade Fire would be absolutely mega results.

War on Drugs on the Park in that early evening slot 👌👌

    • Not necessarily but it should be, Download have a habit of messing it uo when others get the bookings on point. Good Charlotte I doubt are playing 3rd down and that too 3 that day while dreamy is too strong. I think you'd have one another day to help sell weekend tickets. I also doubt Papa Roach play.
    • Here's a bit of a wild stab, few placings may be off, and for all I know half of these won't actually be touring next year, but screw it, it's a bit of fun   Pyramid: Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, TBA (Florence + The Machine), Garbage, The Last Dinner Party, Interpol, Alex James Britpop Classical Other: Chase & Status, Teddy Swims, Clairo, The Kooks, Zara Larsson, Kingfishr, Sports Team, Orbital West Holts: Robyn, Baby Keem, De La Soul, Deltron 3030, JID, Dua Saleh, kwn, Daniela Latila Woodsies: Bonobo, Darkside, TBA (Tame Impala), Laufey, Warmduscher, Wednesday, The Lottery Winners, The Royston Club, Florence Road Park: Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, Slayyyter, The Cardigans, Skye Newman, Kelly Lee Owens, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers   Pyramid: Harry Styles, The xx, Richard Ashcroft, The Pogues, Jessie J, Sigrid, Travis Other: Rosalia, Sombr, Mitski, Alex Warren, Holly Humberstone, Cat Burns, Pale Waves, Yard Act West Holts: Basement Jaxx, Elyanna, Clipse, L’Imperatrice, Nation of Language, Jim Legxacy, Yazmin Lacey, RIP Magic Woodsies: Suede, Chvrches, Bleachers, MUNA, The Cribs, Keo, Bleech 9:3, The Lilacs Park: MARINA, Magdalena Bay, Jacob Alon, TBA (Lily Allen performs West End Girl), Getdown Services, Isaac Wood, Snail Mail, Madra Salach Pyramid: Sam Fender, Hozier, David Byrne, Cher, Obongjayar, David Gray, Billy Ocean Other: Doja Cat, Deftones, Addison Rae, Ren, Viagra Boys, Maisie Peters, The Reytons, Hard Life West Holts: Kano, Thievery Corporation, Angine De Poitrine, Thee Sacred Souls, Brooke Combe, Sasha Keable, Master Peace Woodsies: The Wombats, Metronomy, Geese*, Dry Cleaning, EsDeeKid, Sienna Spiro, Cowboy Hunters, Radio Free Alice Park: Big Thief, Laura Marling, MJ Lenderman, Richard Dawson, Oklou, Maruja, Dead Dads Club, Ratboys   *There's always one band booked for Woodsies that ends up being massively under-billed and gets shut down really early. They'd be better off playing somewhere like Other sub, but I could see the G getting them to play a smaller stage while it's still possible
    • Another Kraftwerk one for me today, as just back from seeing them.
