All Points East Festival 2022

Got a couple this eve for the National tomorrow. Managed to get VIP ones for the same I was hoping to pay for ‘normal’ ones so why not.

They’re ‘VIP View’ so right in thinking it’ll give us access to that front left bit? And access to a couple of different bars/toilets? Anything else worth noting?

Wouldn’t have gone for them normally but at the price I thought why not.

Anyone else had problems with tickets bought from twickets? Bought a few from twickets and all rejected on the gate. All transferred through AXS legit too

Negative. Have both bought and sold for this year, all transferred via the app. What was the outcome?!

Oh yeah I would like this too!

I forgot. Ground was fine, trainers are 👍 for now. Anymore rain and i’d reconsider but for now trainers are a go 🙂

I managed to blag my way in, but a friend who used the other ticket had to buy a new one! Never had a problem with twickets before so it's quite annoying. I wonder if the person who sold them had screenshotted them before transferring

Possibly, yeah. Weird one! If you’ve not already done so, worth following up with Twickets, as they (at least say they’ll) refund you if your tickets don’t get you in…

Does anyone know if you can upgrade to VIP view on the day and how much it is?

I think it depends on the day and how well it’s sold, but last weekend you could only upgrade to the normal VIP on the day and it’s really not worth it.

Looks like they've taken tickets for the Disclosure day off Twickets because of the personalised QR issue?

Twickets have been taking APE tickets offline very early on the day of the event. I messaged them about it and they said it’s something to do with the transfer time on AXS ticket app.

it’s a shame as it’ll result it lots of tickets going to waste

Can someone describe what the searches are like? Patting down? Emptying bags? Cheers

For the field day last week your bag was screened separately and you had to walk through a metal detector. No pat down or dogs where I was. I have a secret zip in my drawstring bag and got in my mates special K, 2 hip flasks of whisky and my mates dads spliffs without even going to any great efforts. With a bit of tact, you should be fine.

Sweet, thank you.

may wear walking shoes just in case but the sun by the time we get there should sort the ground out a wee bit. I was worried about the water pooling on the rock hard ground and turning to mud naturally 🤣

Hopefully it would have sorted the dust issue out. My sinuses are shite at the best of times!

We had nothing like this for field day, walked straight through - offered my bag and they just said go through. full backpacks weren't getting searched it was quite insane, bit scary if anything.
