That's definitely changed my thoughts. Creeper not playing the JEW day or The Menzingers, as yet anyway is a game changer. Much more likely now to grab a later ticket for Brixton from twickets

Creeper are still playing I'm 90% sure, just got a few more tickets to sell for the tour first.

I probably need both to be honest. But i was pretty excited for that lineup as it's a great little fest even for a day but the only act I care for were already there.

Pup is a nice addition. No AFI anymore, I wonder if this means they are either not touring Europe next year anymore, and if they are, where are they going instead?

Yeah AFI is the big blow. Idles aren't for me but they are a bigger get for the festival. Unless their own tour, I think either Reading have got them or more preferably Slam  Dunk have.

I'm sure a bunch from 2020s poster will show up, but Idles/Pup is great for me. Add in Spanish Love Songs, Deafheaven, Menzingers, Dream State, World is a Beautiful Place and Creeper and you have a great line up.

If so I'd consider it,

The line-up would look a lot more attractive with Creeper added. However, they are booked for Madcool on the 6th July and have a few other festival dates in europe late June. I  would have thought surely they are more likely to stay in Europe around the time of Trees and play other festivals or their own dates. Although if they are doing Trees then I would expect them to also appear on other UK festivals, so worth keeping an eye on other dates they annoince either at home or abroad.

They were booked for the Wednesday of Mad Cool for 2020 and 2021 before cancellation, as they were for Trees. Them playing Trees is why they're doing the Wednesday

That looks like is pretty much rules Creeper out. If Ian can be there but not all of them. It's a no from me either way. Too far of a distance to travel from for one band that I'll likely grab a ticket for from twickets in July time. I can move days off so I have both day and after free, get a train to London and have a drink.

Leeched, Ithaca and Fresh are great additions for me.

How does that rule Creeper out? They've still got a tour to sell.

It's sold, tickets aren't available. There is nothing bar Download that never sells out anyway stopping them from announcing them.

    • It was awful during Father John Misty and I was close to the front. People just shouting and laughing their f-ing heads off about nothing in particular and being louder than the bloody stage.
    • Other things I noted yesterday, away from the obvious…   Positives: - an extra water point towards the back left of the main stages has appeared, which I believe is new for this year (and was much needed) - handing out free ponchos was a good touch  - caroline were fantastic. I’d never been in the Auditori Rockdelux before, it’s a wonderful venue and a great venue if you fancy a more chilled out environment  Negatives: - the talkers. I know it’s always bad here (and most festivals nowadays) but f**k me people wouldn’t shut up yesterday. I wonder if it was partly as a result of people being at artists they had little interest in (due to rain limiting their options), although it wasn’t great during blood orange. We’ll be making an effort to get a spot nearer the front for anyone we particularly care about over the weekend  - not enough staff around (and the ones that are there are largely useless). Most other festivals have them everywhere and are happy to help
