Wait until you hear about a little TV show that my friends and I are into. It's called Line Of Duty and I believe its going to be huge.

Not finished LOD but you’re saying H is Lewis Hamilton?

Fuck, didn’t see that coming.

Would have been a better ending tbh

Just finished S2 (I’m about 5 years behind on most pop culture due to having kids and all). Having heard people rave about it for years it’s really not what I was expecting.

I was expecting something slower paced and procedural like The Wire. When really it’s more like 24 - very schlocky, high energy, high drama and bounces from contrivance to cliffhanger every episode. It’s all pretty mindless

I mean, it’s good and I’m enjoying it in the same way I enjoyed 24. I was just expecting something deeper.

As if you don’t know the award winning Broadway musical Hamilton, based on the story of Founding Father of the USA, Alexander Hamilton. Total BOOMER! How out of touch with the younger generations can you be?

They had their shot.

Could Billie Snot Sub Taylor? Or am I being crazy? I know she COULD headline but would she sub if it was Taylor?

Nothing is impossible when Aerosmith are playing lower than headline, but Billie right now is at a position in her career where she doesn’t need to accept sub slots. It makes more sense for her to wait until 2023 and headline the whole thing if there is no space for her in 2022.

    • Personally if it was me now, I would be grabbing a green camping ticket with the knowledge closer when I've refreshed that I can still choose general if I want to....you can't do the opposite!    I would say if you are happy to watch your headliners and big bands further back to be able to see who you actually plan to later then yes it is fine. Its a much difference experience to any other festival especially food wise and camping surrounds.    Once you're in the arena as well you're not going back unless you've got a gap. If I go again I'll be going with the option of not trying to push the front and enjoying further back as you actually put too much pressure on it than the time take away can forget to enjoy other acts.
    • No complaints about the sound. We were like 2nd set of steps facing stage right in like the middle row.
    • On the whole then, yay or nay...I've had a look on festivals united and there's people who seem converted by Rock Im Park, I can imagine it might be different if it was a washout as RaR is tarmac.   The hotel side would be more to convince the non campers if it's an option. On my first visit to rock am ring we were shuttled into the area where you could stick the car next to the tent which was fantastic as it meant zero lugging of camping gear.
    • An interesting thing this. Having seem them several times (some of their gigs veer into back catalogue niche territoty), I partly agree they arent Pyramid material (theough modern defeinition of 'bangers' although I could see them headlinging the Other stage) I can't think of another festival in the world that they couldn't headline - Reading, IoW, BST, Rock Wercheter, Roskilde, etc etc.
