Bidencare and a $2 trillion climate plan.

He had to promise those things to win the nomination. Starmer promised lots of things that he didnt really want to do either look-

These are establishment men, they owe their careers to their ability to follow rules and will always preserve the archaic power structures that have served them so well.

I'm not talking about Starmer.

I know Arizona isn’t reporting for another 6+ hours. Anyone have any idea when Georgia or Nevada may confirm results?

Nevada is Thursday I think in the afternoon their time.

Look I know this whole thread is off topic on a Glastonbury forum and all, but that's got absolutely nothing to do with this thread.

I have no idea what he'll be able to actually do...what with the pandemic and economic fallout...and also with a republican senate. Hopefully he can get US back into the Paris climate thing.

I’m tired and I want to go to bed. But I also don’t want to miss the absolutely colossal fucking meltdown from Trump when it’s official that he’s lost.

If they could delay until tomorrow morning I would be very grateful.

What time in the morning exactly?

When is the general consensus for that announcement?

Anyone watching CNN. This is a problem. Four people attacking what is a reasonable republican. Comes across as an attack to me and I’m incredibly liberal

I know what you mean.  This is the divisiveness that has to stop.  And from a UK point of view I don't see the difference between Republican and Democratic.

Trump has created division, a real disruptor could have brought them together.

Ah I'm just a romantic, it was never going to be that way.

Big Arizona announcement expected at 12 ET so around 5am our time I think.

Nevada will be Thursday, PA Friday.

Georgia is the only unknown timing wise. Alaska and NC not declared but likely to go Trump.

    • I'm not sure, they aren't giving any headliner in that format 2hours and Foos would have at least 2. I wouldn't say Reading is likely for them next year either. If they are as said going big on a tour with stadiums and festivals then the UK is once place they can definitely do stadiums and that would rule them out. And that's even if they come back for a second UK stint as I fully expect them in Europe from very early. That could be seen as hyperthetical but there are is some places I cannot see them not doing from history.
    • One problem could be that many of the hospitality packages are already sold out. Unless you’ve a media contact, media organisations normally get a hospitality allocation.
    • I agree on WA taking a year off in 2027. But if they got the call from R&L could see them having a similar August to what Fontaines are doing now. A few random shows + 2/3 other festivals. The festival/LN does seem to love them as well so there is a chance they take a punt.   I did see about Rodrigo potentially doing a stadium in Poland but no clue if that would be 2027 or 2028, I just can't see her at the Fest at all, seems too big in current climate.   If I were to guess the headliners next year I'd go with Fred Again/Foos/Capaldi/Olivia Dean/Biffy or Wolf Alice/Some Rapper, Tems?
