Strangely I find it easier for getting last minute Twickets pick-up for stadiums than for arena shows. There was barely anything for The Killers' six shows this week, with the exception of the Wednesday show, likely from a lot of people wanting to watch the England v Netherlands game instead.

I got my Foo Fighters and Green Day tickets for Manchester within a week or so of each gig in June without issue. Foos was about £25 less than face value on Twickets the night before and I got Green Day on a production release on See, which I was happy to pay for the front pit.

In total it was around £160 for two 2 and a half hour gigs, plus Wet Leg as one of the supports and both in the front section with great view and sound, so not bad really.

Interesting on The Killers, there were loads for a couple of the Manchester dates, but I couldn't justify it with the above mentioned ones and Glastonbury all in those couple of weeks!

Only Killers show I spotted a lot of Twickets ones going at face or lower for the London dates was the one that clashed with the Euros semi-final. Something that ironically meant missing out on that big moment where they showed the game then celebrated England winning with Mr Brightside.

Foos and Green Day both being stadium dates makes sense to me that because my experience is Twickets has more available for stadium shows, there were enough there for Foos. I paid face for their Cardiff show though was going with friends after a SeeTickets production release. Even if the 2 hour traffic jam on the way there was a f**king miserable experience.

dancing and whole show good though.

Really? She’s singing live about 90% of the time.. the backing tracks are really minimally used.

And I think if there were no backing tracks, it wouldn't sound anything like the recorded songs, as with a lot of pop music. Then people would be saying the vocals are weak...

fantastic 🙂 presumably from inside the barrier ? do you get time limits or can you stay there entire set ?

Usually give us first 3 songs but dua lipa team wouldn’t allow anyone at the front to take pictures so we (including Getty) were all in the crowd.

Watched it last night, I’m surprised that’s her accommodation at Glastonbury.. I would’ve expected something more fancy!

That's probably high end for folk actually staying onsite and being in the heart of the action.  Folk who're just there to play the gig will be in hotels offsite.

Sold out 2 Wembley and an Anfield show + 4 MSG shows today.

No doubt how massive she is now when people doubted if she was big enough before 🤷🏼‍♂️

Incase anyone's arriving at Glastonbury on the Thursday there's still loads left for Anfield

To be fair I'd say her strong ticket sales are influenced by her smashing Glastonbury- particularly after her album stiffed a bit.

That will probably be one of those luxury high spec camper/caravans behind the fence on the hospitality wristbands only path between the pyramid and other fields.

doesnt look that high spec to me .... given the number of airstreams they have on site ..... looks like a kitchen that would be the first thing stripped out in homes under the hammer

I'd agree with that. Bit shocked they've been as good as they have been.

With a good bill next to her, might try and snaffle a Liverpool ticket nearer the time.

and its stupid that she didnt play the game in America and did Coachella. Chappell Roan exploded after her performance even though that was gonna be her path. But it helped immensely.

Dua had a tour ready to announce after the album drop and then delayed it because it didnt get the attention they thought. And there were stadiums booked in the states which likely wouldve sold well because everyone wouldve seen the festival performance and that it was loads of fun. And the u.s dates are slightly deceiving. They sold but you should check official Ticketmaster resale. Lots of seats for resale instead of a low resale supply which means people got their hands on tickets. The high price point wasnt doing anyone favors. $200 usd for upper levels isnt the best for face value. Standing was cheaper than seats.

Dua did an orchestra backed show at the Royal Albert Hall this week for TV (not sure which channel) which included a duet with Elton and the first time outing for Dance The Night .. can’t wait to see that appear on TV somewhere..
