Just about to start setting up, kettle is on, good luck all!

Quick question. If I get through and try to buy 6 tickets but 2 of them have already been purchased in another group, will it abandon the whole transaction or just tell me I can’t buy those 2 and go ahead with the other 4?

You’ll have to take the 2 out

It'll tell you that two have been bought for - it might even tell you which two! - then you can remove them and continue with your purchase

Are you actually trying to get these tickets using hotel Wi-Fi?

I'll be trying using a laptop borrowed from the boss of guest house I'm staying in in Johannesburg,  plus my Samsung Tab 6 tablet plus my wife's Galaxy 7 phone, all on the guest house's WiFi! !

Am on holiday here so no other options.

Do have 4 others in the group though who will be trying by more normal connection methods.

Hopefully this will be 18 in a row

I used to always hate that moment, a few minutes/seconds before 9am, when you're doing your routine periodical checking of the sales page, when suddenly it stops loading because everyone is now at it, then you click on festivals only to find that's gone down too- then you realise you are all alone in amongst the oncoming ticket mayhem!

Also hate having to make the decision several minutes into failing miserably to get onto the sales page- do you continue to preserver, or do you start trying to get onto festivals in the hope someone has posted a link/ trick/tip!

    • RIP Roy Hattersley
    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
