Apart from the interview saying Lauryn Hill is after them on the pyramid!

We also know Ezra is subbing.  So they’re either 3rd and 4th with no Rock slot (that Emily mentioned) or 4th and 5th as most of us think

- Bastille are also rubbish too so 5th is more than high enough

While that might be true, that would also mean Bastille dropping down from subbing Other to 4th on Other in equivalent terms and they are still getting a 3rd main position if you like at Reading and subbing IOW so basically 3rd down too if we're going based on IOW pretty much having subs and headliners now. I think the metal slot may be a bit of an overshare and that Bastille will be 4th down with LH 3rd down but we'll see.

If Craig David can do a sold out arena tour in 2017 and end up 5th down Pyramid then Bastille can easily be 5th down

Bit different though isn't it, Craig David has a lot of popular older tracks for a fun early afternoon if you like, he's doing a early afternoon big billed slot at SW4 too.

If Miley is playing 5th down then Bastille can.

They're also headlining the 2nd stage at R&L (Dave and Muru Masa are too...).  On that basis you’re over selling Bastille as higher than 5th.

also at IOW they’re in the same position as Jess Glynne and Lilly Allen! Yeah... 5th down

So maybe Friday Pyramid is something like

Sheryl Crow

Limp Bizkit

Bastille

Lauren Hill

George Ezra

Stormzy

Fuck me that's bad. Not Friday 2008 bad, but getting there. Luckily there's plenty of other stages blah blah.

Lauren Hill will be the stand out by a country mile.

I love how you've slipped Limp Bizkit on here like it's definitely happening to add fire to the scorn currently going on in the metal slot thread

Unless I've missed something and there is some new intel! *Goes to check thread*

Theres not. I just had a quick look, realised it sort of made sense to be them (I’m really hoping for sight) and tried to shoehorn them in ?

Can’t make that quite fit.

LB/Rock slot is too low to fit with Emily describing it as ‘about 5pm’. That needs to be 3rd or 4th down.

Move LB/Rock slot up to 3rd and Lauryn Hill & Bastille look a bit low.

It would be unusual for double-checked Neil info to be wrong but maybe Ezra has moved to Sunday. But then Lauryn Hill subbing seems a bit high to me. She’s headlining a new festival in Glasgow with Groove Armada and Hot Chip as the other headliners. But then she would fit nicely before Stormzy IMHO. But then Ezra....

Not sure why we’re overthinking it.

We know Stormzy is headlining.  Neil has some spot on info for Ezra subbing.  Emily mentioned the Rock slot recently so we’ve got to think that’s still a thing.  Bastille have stated they’re on the pyramid and Lauren Hill is after them.  Surely it can’t be anything other than 4th for her and 5th for them?!

Not sure it’s a collective overthinking as much as it is me ? I only got a ticket on Thursday, I’m all excited ?

If the Rock slot is Iggy (plzplzplzplz) 3rd works. If it’s Durst and co it’s an outrage. Emily didn’t commit to it being 3rd down, just ‘about 5pm’ so the Rock Slot could be 4th, but then that didn’t work.

Yeah suppose so.  The other 3 recent ones have been 3rd and start anywhere from 17.45 to 18.30 so it could be shifted.  (Guessing Stormzy won’t be getting anywhere near as long as recent Friday headers)

Like it

is Iggy still a possibility? I thought he’d been ruled out by being on tour in Europe or something

Class prediction Matt as always.

Tame >  Iggy Pop > IDLES would be one of the best days of music I would of ever witnessed.

Cannot think who takes Sunday Other headline and Pyramid sub at all also. Suppose we will get that on the full announcement.
